In her new show "HyunA X19", HyunA reveals her honest thoughts about 4Minute's disbandment.

 

Ever since 4Minute disbanded, many have been wondering what each member has been feeling about the split. Now thanks to the recent August 16 episode of MBC's new reality show "HyunA X19", we finally get a glimpse into HyunA's feelings on the matter - and it's pretty heartwrenching.

 

The August 16 episode takes place back in July 29 when HyunA held a press conference for her solo comeback, and naturally, she is asked about 4Minute and its disbandment. While the singer was diplomatic in answering all the questions, when she returns backstage and is away from the interviewers, she is visibly upset and drained.

 

HyunA explains that she hates the word "disbandment" and that underneath all the polite questions, people are really just asking her if she's "relieved" now that she's going solo, to which she replies “Of course not! How can I do only what I want to do? It’s not something I can decide by myself and it upsets me that those types of things gets consumed so easily.â€

 

Revealingly, HyunA shows her concerns for the rest of her 4Minute members, explaining that they've haven't had the chance to talk about the situation before opening up about how she's essentially been forced into talking about 4Minute for her solo promotions, and that there's nothing she can do about it.

 

Unable to hold back, HyunA eventually starts crying and states that while she doesn't care what other people think, she is worried that the other 4Minute members will hate her for talking about the group's disbandment.

I believe it isn't just her that didn't want this unfortunate outcome to be their downfall, the other 4 likely holds similar sort of sentiment regarding the matter as well. All 5 of them are unbelievably strong-willed at heart and bears emotional strength inside far more than any other within the K-entertainment industry, perhaps.

"Hyuna and the girls" was never a fair or appt description of the group and it was obvious Hyuna cared for her group and wanted each member and the group to shine. Cube is a mess its not the girls fault.

 

I hope and think they'll reunite one day.
