How is Cheer Up an especially good music video?  The premise and cinematography of the video are extremely bland.

Is this for real? The shots, details of each concept, transitions are amazing, it has an incredible amount of replay value. The first time you watch it, it just kill you one shot after one another, no time to pause because you have no clue what comes next. The other times you can admire all the small details that you missed because the first time it went too fast.

This is the perfect MV for a rookie group (and the views shows it), cause it highlights every members, give them a "color",  has a strong impact the first time (that is not your typical kpop mv), and push you to watch it several times (longevity). The MV played a huge role in CU success!

Come on Nugunade, all the previous mvs have a really.. mysterious feeling + pastel colours + magical feel and Cheer Up is more like a fun video with different concepts

It is my style, an mv with different shots is fun to watch, reminds me old 2NE1

no i mean,the OP really didn't specify exactly a sort of theme these 'top 10' MVs should have

and imo, some of them we've all seen before

like rv and lovelyz one are too similar...and they share way too much aesthetic

other than that, all the other MVs are great

but idk why that boygroup mv is on this list tho, it's your typical generic flashy bg MV lmao

 

but with twice, it's smth new and have a great chance of becoming a classic lol

I agree with your choices expecially the girl group ones.

 

Twice concept was intesting using different movie concepts.

Lovelyz MV really goes with their their lyrics, look them up if you haven't. The lyrics are really poetic

Red Velvet gave me alice and wonderland vide.  They have great aestitic in their mvs

Windy Day also gave me alice and wonderland vibe with some parts and the song is great.

Ladies Code I really love the song and mv and I cried when watching it because they been through so much

WJSN I really really like this mv a lot and found the whole story line and concept really cool. I liked how it was welcoming their 13th member.

Wonder Girls is so them, the retro vibe and getting revenge. Plus the song is great and it even more amazing that they wrote the song together

 

Not a fan of romeo but I checked out the MV and I liked it. Gives me a game vibe because they are searching for those chips or whatever you like to call them.

Vixx fantasy is an interesting mv to, very aesthetically pleasing even though the mv confuses me a bit

Lol, Cheer Up is one of the most creative K-Pop MV's EVER. I can't really see how anyone would think is boring unless they really really want to dislike it.
