Lol. I remember someone who confessed to me three years ago. He liked me but I only saw him as an acquaintance. I didn't want things to get awkward so I thanked him with a heart sign. Never heard from him again, though. Another one did the same thing, but he was my friend. He texted me saying he liked me. I replied saying I liked myself, too. I know that sometimes guys think that because you are friendly they can wear you down if they keep asking you out because you don't want to hurt their feelings. In this case I don't think you have to actually reject him unless that persona was demanding for an answer in which case you just have to tell him you don't like him.
