Taeyeon had been involved in all kind of problems many times before, but I don't remember Tiffany fans blaming Taeyeon for harming SNSD image. The only "scandal" worth actually being called such is the Alicia Keys comment which was a very ignorant statement on her part. Tiffany has been constantly seeming more and more vapid as time goes by. Her stupidity is "cute" on occasion because she seems like such a happy and ditzy girl, but its starting to become annoying. But as far as I can tell, fans aren't distancing themselves but reprimanding her. Why would we be on her side if it's her dumb mistake int he first place? I love Tiffany to the moon and back but no way am I gonna defend her for this. Babe needs to learn the hard way. I'll always be there for her but this'll show her not to post so mindlessly. The obvious con is that this is the biggest scandal from an SNSD member (dating and nepotism pale compared to this), the obvious pro is that she apologized and we know that she can recover from this. I'm just tired of her constantly fucking up on SNS. How hard is it to check your shit before you post it knowing you have millions of followers and many haters that will analyze every post you make? So irritating that this whole thing could have been avoided had she had basic common sense. Korea is very prideful. How many scandals have there been regarding history? Not defending Korea? Literally countless. So no one can sit here and act like Tiffany was oblivious to this information. As an idol I'm sure SM has educated them on what not to post and what to avoid. She is just careless and honestly irresponsible. Other SNSD member scandals don't hold a candle to this. Tiffany literally offended an entire nation, by indirectly insulting their independence day. Hopefully she just stays off SNS for good because she seems unable to post without looking stupid. And again, I am still a fan and support her. But she deserves all the lashings for this scandal.
