For me I love wonkyu interactions too because, like the others have said, Siwon cares for Kyu I think, as he does the other members too I'm sure. Siwon is really a thoughtful guy and so kind, to the members and the fans. I also especially enjoy QMi for similar reasons, I think that Mi really cares about Kyu, as QMi shippers often say, Mi is the biggest QMi shipper hahaha. And Kyu cares about them in return, like buying magnets for Siwon from Chile. Also Changkyu because we know their friendship is genuine. I can say a thing about more of the Kyu-ships, but nahh no need lol. 

 

^ That pizza omg. He looks so yummy (opps typo...my subconscious is so revealing lmao....). I mean the pizza looks so yummy. Kyu must like pizza. It's the only dish he said he knows how to make on that Happy Together show. His pizza made with sweet potatoes looked good btw. I do mean to try out his recipe.

 

I've never seen the crust made that way. It looks like it is folded in in parts.

Omg you are me. I also don't really have an OTP, but I looove WonKyu interactions for the same reasons you mentioned. I would always read stuff about Kyuhyun not being comfortable with Siwon's advances, y'know things people tend to say to feel better about their flop OTP (I actuallly tweeted this some time ago and damn did it get people riled up lmao). The way I see it, he seems to perfectly enjoy all of the attention Siwon gives him and there are times he even (subtly) provokes him.

 

I don't thinkl they're actually in love, despite the possibility being there, but I've had some wtf-moments. Like..

Truth is, I just love how Siwon seems to be so fond of Kyuhyun. He truly cherishes him and I really appreciate that. Having in mind that infamous Radio Star episode where ShinTeuk and to a lesser extent Eunhyuk had made it to their life goal to make Kyuhyun as uncomfortable as possible and then there was Siwon... the song he chose, the things he said about him and the way he answered that ending question. It just tells me that he truly cares for Kyuhyun and I love him for that.

 

Ok, the secret's out. I'm you. Now stop talking to yourself you weirdo...

Siwon is perfectly fine minding his own business and drinking his drink and Kyuhyun just keeps on prodding and poking (not to mention singing, smiling and caressing) until Siwon goes along with it. You cannot blame Siwon for all of it. You just can't.

 

As an added bonus. Kyuhyun sings absolutely gorgeously every single Mandarin love song he can't think of in that video. Every Kyu fan regardless of ship should watch it if you haven't yet.

 

Also, did you know that that song Siwon chose to be played on RS "You were born to be loved" was actually a song that Kyuhyun's church sang to him after he was released from the hospital in 2007?

Me too, I dont ship any particular OTP, but Wonkyu has very amusing and loving moments , no wonders that WK shippers are going so strong nowadays with all the fan projects, banners. Guess i'm gradually becoming a silent supporter of Wonkyu.

That fanmeet and fancam is one of my favourites because Kyu is asked to entertain fans and he really tries to sing every Mandarin song he knows lol. 

 

I think the problem with shipping, is not about the shipping per se, but the thought that shippers need to compete with each other or prove that one is better than another. As a result, a lot of fights happen and a lot of insults fly about. For the most part, delusional OTP stuff makes me giggle (unless I have pms and everything annoys me, but this doesn't count) and I find them kinda funny. 

 

I generally roll my eyes at things like this. When you have a picture and someone says, X is whispering with Y, Kyu is so jealous. I just seriously have to roll my eyes because even if they are together, who would be so jealous that the other person can't even speak with someone else? Or when they are all lined up and the members are standing next to each other and hold hands. Suddenly that is an OTP moment. Or when you have Kyu look in the direction of X and then people talk about how much in love he is or whatever. I'm looking at the picture thinking....X is the one talking, everyone is looking that way, or if you look at it properly, Kyu isn't even looking at so and so.... 

 

I just do those things in my head though (for the most part). Sure I roll my eyes or I may even laugh at the "OTP moment" but these things are harmless (mostly), so I don't really care when people make an OTP moments out of them, even though in my head I'm like....okkkaaay.

 

The part I don't find so funny is when it's something that might make one of the idols look bad or is really not in line with what I think is Kyu's character or nature and the fact that some people seriously, seriously think the "fact" being spread are real. I don't have an example at the moment. 

 

Kyu ships run into all sorts of problems because he has so many ships.

I love WonKyu as well for all the excellent reasons you two have posted --- I don't think there's anything romantic between them but Siwon has made it clear through interviews also that he absolutely loves Kyuhyun (as a friend imo) and I just enjoy their interaction so much.  I do think Kyu is a sort of affection-magnet (look at how different Changmin is with him, Siwon is kind of feely with everyone but he's almost over the top with Kyu in terms of showering him with affection) from other people and I think that's not just his looks but also his personality -- and apparently his delicious body aroma (I wish I could sniff it, does that sound weird/perverted? I just keep reading how other members and some fans have smelled him and said he smells really good  )

 

I don't really mind if other people OTP Kyu but I dislike it when there's squabbles in fandoms because of it -- for example people who are KyuMin shippers got really angry at Siwon because they thought he was forcing himself on Kyu (who "didn't like it" etc) at some recent SS5.  I mean, it's probably 90% fan service at SS5 even though they genuinely like each other as friends and members imo.. if you really believe your bias + Kyu are OTP that's your right but don't rip into other members because of it, please.

Yes for the most part shipping is quite harmless fun. In the beginning I was quite iffy about the whole thing since they're actual real people and I felt it was a bit... you know. But I guess when you are surrounded by it long enough you kinda learn to accept it. For better or for worse.

 

I don't pay mind to a lot of the shippers and shipping wars that go with it although I must admit that that sort of in-your-face delusional OTP moment!!<3<3 crap listed above really drives me bonkers, no matter who the OTP. Not because I mind multiple ships but because they are literally pulling shit out of thin air. What is even the point of shipping if it's not to enjoy and even celebrate stuff that you can actually see for yourself? I just don't get it...

 

And yes, twisting the idols' personalities (whether they are who you are shipping or your OTP's rival) is also a big no no. Flaunting your shipping stuff in the idols' faces I don't like either (although I admit that people like Eunhyuk and Siwon really only have themselves to blame). Bashing, don't even go there...

About shipping in general, I agree with y'all. It's all nice and harmless and all, but when people take it too seriously, it becomes creepy and annoying.

 

And not shading any of the other members but I love how, despite being part of many popular OTPs, Kyu's popularity doesn't rely on that stuff for the biggest part. I guess him not being one to encourage fanservice (much) helps.

They are so foolish and get up to all sorts of nonsense. Like when they hollered at Zhou Mi to kick Ryeowook off the boat in Stars Lead the Way and Ryeowook fell off and then they laughed and laughed. More of these shows please. ;; 

 

SJ as sons ok. I would like 5 sons then. Kyu, Hyuk, Hae, Siwon, Zhou Mi. Kyu was such a good kid from all accounts, so I don't mind a son like him at all.

I think shipping is fine, but i hate it when fans dislike a member because he's interfering with their ship.  I've seen so many Eunhae shippers not like Siwon cuz there's Eunsihae, same with Kyumin.  And shipping wars are ridiculous.

LOL with their evil laughter.  I loved when Kyuhyun was teaching Eunhyuk how to sing Hot Times, cuz i got to hear Kyuhyun sing the whole song by himself and Kyuhyuk are hilarious together.  I loved the long stay so much mainly cuz all my biases were there and the shows were hilarious.  

 

oh so my dad picked me up from school and we were picking up my brother and while we were waiting, my dad started watching the newest Radio Star on his phone and he was like "Oh kyuhyun's finally out of the weird sweaters, but why does he wear so much plaid and stripes?" Lol

He’d only just debuted then.

KEN: Then you should’ve known of him! I knew of them once they debuted!

ZHOU MI: I was in China then.

KEN: Ohhh, so you didn’t get that information. It didn’t get there as quickly.

ZHOU MI: At the time, they didn’t really consider China one of their main markets, so.. anyway, after that, he cut a piece of pork chop. And after he finished cutting it, the first piece, he picked it up with a fork and fed it to me.

KEN: Wowwww. What a good person.

ZHOU MI: At the time I thought, wow, even though we had a language barrier, but after this incident, I just thought, this boy is so cute.

KEN: A really good person.
