Would any of you really mind it if Kyuhyun were to leave Radio Star? I know I won't.

Nope I much prefer him on Mamma Mia, even if he gets less screen time. And he always looks like an idiot it's great.

tbh I won't, ever since the writers were changed and Kim Gura came back, I dont really like the atmosphere of the show, it's still funny but different kind of funny than the episodes where Yoo Se Yoon was still there. It's sad that he's gonna lose one of the source of his public recognition but I'm sure he can get to other shows since he's not irrelevant like he used to be. 

For now, i'm still hoping for everything goes well and dont let the show that raise him up to be the one that bring him down, but If I were to choose, I prefer on 2014, he change to another variety with other image and do some music project like ost or featuring or other solo project.

it was on 2012, but yes that was one of my favorite too ! Esp when he sulked bcs everyone ganged up on him and decided to attack Leeteuk back lol, so funny. Did you also watch his and Eunhyuk's appearance on TVXQ "do dream" ? I love that too, he's hilarious. He and Eunhyuk do indeed make the best gag duo among idols. No wonder they got no 1 at weekly idol ranking. 

 

As for Ryeowook's, for some reason, I have high hope for him, I know that he can be rash and end up like Key on RS eps few weeks ago ( kinda get out of control and end up on everyone's nerve ) but Ryeowook's sarcasm and harsh comment usually is done innocently. He didnt have the "snob" vibe that Key or maybe Kwanghee had when throwing harsh remarks, but you have a reason to be worried tho, these days, after Kim Gura came back and the writers were changed, the atmosphere of the show changed and there are times when I find it unpleasant.

No, I don't think I have seen that Do Dream. I have seen a clip where Kyuhyun was imitating Yunho's dancing but that's about it. Maybe I'll look it up. Thanks for the tip.

 

And I am rooting for Ryeowook. He can be hilarious. We all know that. Hopefully Kyuhyun can give him a hand.

I would... I know a lot of his fans dislike it and what it does to his image but I like the show. Liked it even before he joined. And I think he would be sad as well if he had to give it up.

I don't mind at all. He got all the benefits he could get from the show, there just isn't much to gain from it anymore. And I agree, him and Seyoon made such a good team.

 

well it's debatable tho, as long as he stay on the show, people will more and more recognize him, it's his biggest benefit from Radio Star but yes, his image can get blurred, his identity as a singer can fade and these days his image as a 'dokdol' is used to much to define his image and overshadow his true personality. Despite all that, I still think the pro and cons of him is still 50:50, but for me It'd be nice if he were to host other show with other image so ppl can see him as a real MC with real talking skill, and not as "that idol who look innocent when throwing some harsh comment. Thats why I was so happy when he's hosting mamma mia, and was upset when the news of Mamma Mia and RS are going to be on the same time slot. 

 

I like him the best when he's singing, and I get many fans' wish for him to get back to his original goal, but if we were to see in a big picture, he doesnt really have any bigger chance in singing for now. But that's why Kyuhyun is in a blessed position as the MC of the show. It was a problem when he first started because he got so much criticism for being an idol and awkward and rude and what have you. But by now the public knows him better and they know that it's just his RS persona. He worked so long and so hard to haul himself over the threshold of being in a position where he can say stuff that other idols could not, and get away with it. It's a precarious position for sure, and it could go horribly wrong for him yet but it's not at all the same as being just another idol guest appearing in a one hour episode. Idk, I'd hate for him to have to give it up only after 2 years.

 

On the other hand I'm not always all that psyched about his Mamma Mia persona but I do recognize the benefit of him widening his MC repertoire and soliciting a larger audience. Personally at this point I'm hoping that it'll all lead to a triumphant solo album that would get purchased by his MM ahjumma fans, his urban professional RS fans and ELF alike. But well... that's just me.

no..i don't mind it at all.

he already took all advantages that Radio Star give him, if he stay with current Kim Gura and PD/Scriptwriters team the more his image can be screwed. his image now is okay though, just Radio Star PD trying to milk everything from him almost every week to get more trending on portal news or ratings.

but RS Kyu is always fun to watch, i just have problems with the team behind them. if they get better PD and scriptwriter, kick Kim Gura(ok, it's impossible) and Yoo Seyoon back, i guess i'm okay if he stay.

I like him the best when he's singing, and I get many fans' wish for him to get back to his original goal, but if we were to see in a big picture, he doesnt really have any bigger chance in singing for now. Well therein lies the problem and that is SM's inability to promote their talents to the public. The whole thing is obviously just a fantasy of mine. SM's failure to ever properly promote KRY in Korea kinda killed my hopes on this front to begin with.

The other way would be Immortal Song, it wouldn't literally /sell/, but it helps you get recognition as a singer. Imagine him joining IS again, with his current popularity.

Yes, I'd like that very much. Especially if he could stay on for a few months instead of weeks like last time so that the public would get to know him as a Singer, like they did with Hyorin and Ailee for example. Not just an idol who sings.
