I never heard Knets complaining about them not being around. If the netizens complained sm would release them That's why Haechan debuted because he got low votes too but when he started to get handsome and knets complemented his looks then SM debuted him... That's why I was curious. I wouldn't even comment on it if "DEBUT JOHNNY/HANSOL" was constantly spammed on every NCT post. And hard work shouldn't be a qualifier for debuting as a performer. I foresee another Luna situation if these fakes don't cut that shit out. But actual fans have legitimate reasons for why they'd like to see them debut, at least before these proposed mini-rookies. The mini rookies aren't even out of puberty. They can afford to wait a few years. In fact they should. Showbiz is not good for someone who's still developing. Utada Hikaru just had an interview where she said she regretted debuting so early. JohnSol are among the oldest members, so they don't have as much time. More than that, they're able to accrue a larger fanbase and a pull off wider array of concepts than the mini-rookies do because of their age. TBH, not as popular as some of the other hyung members at least within Korea. But it's a chicken or egg type situation. Because it seems like the more popular members were the ones who SM pushed for a lot and released a lot of material for. For example, EXO 90:2014 had those EXO remakes of classic kpop songs and a lot of the now-popular NCT members had larger features on that either vocally and/or in the videos. Taeyong had that "Open the Door" video released. Whereas for Hansol and Johnny we barely even know what their vocals sound like. But they obviously have something more than the others, because being part of the 15 members in the public smrookies lineup means you have something more than the members who weren't officially announced.
