Well said, Sunny! This mentality is what's missing from a lot of groups. It's easy to say you'll do this for the sake of the team, but once you're the one taking the backseat, I'm sure it isn't easy. I respect all of the members for being able to continuously put the group first. No matter what anyone says, SNSD deserves every bit of their success and more. They really do have amazing teamwork. I'm so happy that we're starting to see all of them shine individually now, because they've worked hard and deserve it. Always proud to be their fan  :chu:

Sunny sticking to her words 7 years later. (around the 3.00 min mark)  :)

Yep they are the TRUE queens of Kpop

^^^^

:rlytearpls: "popularity, like seasons, comes and goes around." So true. I'm so proud that they managed to last this long as SNSD (even though jess is no longer part of them rn).

Me too!! Sadly even if we lost a few along the way, I hope we all stand by them till the end.

group popularity ->  individual popularity -> brand name -> more popularity-> longevity

individual popularity -> more individual promotion -> less group popularity-> disbandment

This is very true.
