Oliver 22,442 Posted August 11, 2016 Share Posted August 11, 2016 A few months ago a rumor post was released which is seeming more and more legit lately... in it, it said that JYP are planning SIXTEEN 2 later this year to be for the next boygroup ... What will that mean for GOT7?? I've seen many fans see this as JYP giving up on them.. GOT7 are currently in their 2nd year with 7 comebacks [6 + 1 repackage] and their sales are steadily rising from comeback to comeback.. I have mixed feelings about this tbh.. I think debuting a new boy group would be good for JYP since it means another source of income and 2PM's enlistment is nearing by.. but i'm worried it'll be like Winner and Ikon.. and how messy it all is... GOT7 still havent had their breakout hit yet and alot are worrying about what will happen to them if/when the new boy group is successful.. (People forget that most of JYP incomes come from 2PM in japan (and not Suzy CF)) so I guess GOT7 will be send in Japan instead of 2PM and the new boy group will promote in Korea.
