justapasserby 1,020
There's rumours that Yoona will be going to San Roque, Spain on September 1 to film for K2! They'll be going to Barcelona Airport, then travel to San Roque. https://twitter.com/Goto530Ya/status/770483950884184064 hate to break the news but actually this person is only saying that the next available flight from Seoul to Madrid, Spain by Korean air is on 1 Sep noon time. not that Yoona is going there on 1 Sep. of course she may go on 1 Sep in the end but just clarifying that this is not what the person who tweet that means haha

justapasserby 1,020
Unpopular opinion coming through so I apologize in advance but here is my 2cents: **Note: I am actually a fan of all 3 main actors, so don't misunderstand me*** Let's begin with the fact that the drama's name is ''The K2''. I thought it would follow the story of this soldier-turned-bodyguard. At the beginning, the writer was on point as we got to know JeHa and sympathized with him and his situation. And dare I say that YJ and Anna could also draw sympathy at different levels. However, as the episodes went on, JeHa did not mature as a character (nor did Anna) until recently: we seldom get to hear his thoughts. I feel that the writer became a bit too mindful of SYA as a Sunbae actress that he gave her character too much importance. It got a bit tiresome because we don't know JeHa or Anna as much as we know Choi YooJin. And that is paradoxal since the drama's name is the K2. YJ is a very interesting, twisted character and I loooove that! I mean we know all about her inner thoughts, constantly learning about how she felt in the past, how she feels in the present, we know her devious mind all too well. She is a villain (she issues kill orders like she orders breakfast when it doesn't go her way) who still sees herself as a victim of her dad's actions. I don't have questions about her as a character because we got and still get plenty of answers about her life. But sadly we cannot say the same about JeHa or Anna, who could have been just as interesting if we'd seen more layers of their personality. That's why I was glad when JeHa told YJ what he actually felt about her and that he would not give her the USB key. I was like: there you are JeHa! Finally, you speak up! (I knew that he was preparing something in the past episodes but his thoughts were not yet voiced to confirm it which is why maybe some were surprised by ep 14). Honestly, he could have said ''I want to be your chingu'' to YJ (which of course he wouldn't have because he is a stand-up character) and I would have still rejoiced! Because I would have been like ''ok at least now I know what you are thinking''. JeHa and Anna have trust issues because lets face it, the guy never told her the truth about his past. And although she apologized for not telling him about going with her uncle at the time, JeHa has yet to tell her his real name, what he is doing and why, etc. Yes, he is doing it to protect her but he could have told her much more by now. Also about the President's son. He is a Doctor, the author could have easily made him a psychiatrist or something for Anna's character. It would have made him more prominent in the story and would have been good for Anna's treatment of PTSD. Instead now it just seem like another intrigue within the intrigue, I find. Obviously this drama is very good in my opinion because it has me invested in the characters (although they do frustrate me at times haha) and that is a testament of the great acting by all involved. So kudos! But with a better writer, this story-line and plot could have been one of the best ever! The potential was all there, the acting, the chemistry among the cast was all there. Peace and have a great weekend! Totally agreed with you. In fact many chinese, korean and international netizens have talk about it even sarcastically saying that this drama title should be called 'The Yoojin' or 'Madam Choi' Many people also pointed out that Choi Yoojin has many inner thought session but both Jeha and Anna lacked that and resulted in some viewers could not understand why they did this and that.
