I don't know if it is just me, but I find Yoona looking so intriguingly attractive in the teasers as well as the BTS clip. I have seen a couple of people complaint about her hair (being centered-part as opposed to side part), but I find her looking a lot more mature with it. It fits her character, and perhaps it was done by purpose.

The drama synopsis according to Dramafever:

Ji Chang Wook (Healer, Warrior Baek Dong Soo) and Song Yoon Ah (Assembly) star in a political drama that shows you really shouldn’t mess with somebody’s present when they can royally wreck your future. Kim Je Ha (Ji Chang Wook) is a former secret service agent, unquestionably patriotic yet abandoned by his colleagues. An elite soldier, Kim Je Ha is also tremendously athletic, armed with martial arts skills and ice-cool nerves known to few. He gets hired as a bodyguard by Choi Yoo Jin (Song Yoon Ah), the premier First Lady candidate and the daughter of a chaebol family. Behind Choi Yoo Jin’s kind and friendly demeanor, though, lies a woman with deep ambition and a ruthless willingness to pursue it at all costs. Amidst his struggles and her ambitions, there is also Go An Na (The Prime Minister and I star and SNSD member Im Yoon Ah), the reclusive and hidden daughter of the presidential hopeful who, due to a childhood trauma, is unable to communicate with the world and only sees love as a tool for revenge. So when she and Kim Je Ha, both abandoned souls slowly growing closer, decide to enact vengeance upon the people who wronged them, can they put their own traumas aside and focus, or will their emotional scars cause them to fail in their quest for retribution? Adding to the drama are Jang Se Joon (Neighborhood Hero alum Jo Sung Ha), the presidential candidate, Park Gwan Soo (Mirror of the Witch actor Kim Gab Soo), his morally questionable rival, and Kim Dong Mi (She Was Pretty star Shin Dong Mi), the steely and cold right-hand woman and chief secretary of the First Lady hopeful.

The new trailers look really good, but these are from the 1st episode scenes and not for teaser purposes right?

From what we have seen today, Kim Je-ha and Go Anna do not appear to have a smooth love story, there will be some angst and betrayal going around. Their characters will probably love, yet break each other's heart at the same time. Just a thought.

This is from a SNSD's stan point of view, but it would be great if we can see Yoona in action while the background music is taken care of by Taeyeon. Imagine that, LOL!

Rough translation for the Facebook post with the picture below (not word-for-word, but we get the idea)

Three Reasons why you should watch "The K2":

-The birth of a true bodyguard action drama. Action drama requires a certain level of difficulty. The most exciting bodyguard action that (you are going to see)

-The good cast. Good acting from main roles to supporting roles.

-A powerful family is being casted with a secret. A complicated fate. A drama that has good balance between action and romance.

"I believe that there are Anna's feeling inside of me. There are many people who live keeping their sadness and pain inside. I want to show their image onscreen."-YoonA

I feel like this is a very poignant statement, showing YoonA's depth as an actress as well as a person.

I like how YoonA and Ji Chang-wook look so close and comfortable with each other offscreen, as if they have been friends for a long time. Looking forward to see their onscreen chemistry. In fact, don't know if it is just me, but photos and video clips give me an impression that their characters are going to have a very intense, passionate love story.

Jae-ha & Anna relationship:

...As predicted, the only person that Kim Jae Ha wants to protect is Go Anna. When not a single strand of hope was left, she was the person who ignited in him the will to live again. Although he willingly sacrifices himself in dangerous situations to save her, he also protects himself for her sake....

I'm actually quite surprised with Jeha's character. I thought he would be the type to be hard on the outside and in the inside too (then his heart would soften once he falls in love) but it seems that this isn't the case here. Hard on the outside, soft in the inside? He helped the old lady (the cleaner) and the elderly couple whom he grew attached to very quickly. He doesn't seem detached with his feelings like a cold character would be.

Perhaps, his character feels internally detached, but still has a sense of helping the "helpless" (after all, he was supposed to be a soldier)

I read a few of the comments on drama beans and agree a bit with them. The bits with Jeha falling for Anna already is a bit too far fetched . Normal people would haven seen dancing with a packet of ramen worthy of sending said person to a mental asylum or the likes.

It's more like he is having good feelings towards her (perhaps he finds her cute)...rather than falling in love at this point.

When Anna was in the church, before singing "Amazing Grace", I think she was hoping her dad would "acknowledge" her, but Jang Se-joon awkward reaction might have made Anna realize that her dad does not care about her after all. So perhaps that explains the tears while she was singing. Also, the lyrics of the song was "...I once was lost, but now I'm found. Was blind, but now I see...". Just a thought.

The rooftop scene at the end of episode 8 is so well-executed. The way Jeha gently pulls Anna closer and holds her feels so natural. How he ruffles her hair and pats her back, while Anna was crying like a child. Her sound of crying and breathing gives you that sympathizing feeling. The way Jeha stares blankly into space depicts the feeling of a man feeling helpless towards his young lover's sorrow. The whole scene is so tender, romantic yet angsty.

I also really like the scene in Episode 7 where Jang Se Joon finally meets his daughter. As I have expressed before, the actings and directing in this drama is simply flawless.

======

Regarding SM's decision to not having fan food truck, don't look too much into it. YoonA has been receiving critical acclaim  for her acting in this drama, it benefits both YoonA and SM as a whole. Perhaps, it is their new policy to not allowing fans' food trucks in the future.

I saw her personality in the episode as becoming more bold and taking more risks, which is better than being scared and doing nothing. Plus that side of her personality does kinda come across in the beginning of the series.

They all definitely have their own flaws and strengths. And some mistakes will probably need to be made for their characters to develop.

i'm a bit disappointed with anna during their conversation during the photoshoot. she did all sorts of things impulsively, in return making jeha closer to danger yet she still expects him to protect her. i know she wants revenge and he's a body guard after all but she's taking him for granted too much.

I don't like the idea of guessing what will happen next in a drama, but I have a feeling that Episode 9-10 was the transition of Go Anna transitioning from being "innocent/vulnerable" to become more mature for the remaining episodes.   I just have a gut feeling she will become a very "scary" person soon. Something about that conversation between Jeha and Anna gives me that impression.

While the kissing scene seems to be the buzz of the week, my favorite scene in Episode 10 is that conversation between Jeha and Anna at the end. The more and more I watch, the more sure I am about the top-notch acting in this drama. Anna was not only tearing up, but she was speaking in a trembling voice/lips. And right after she said "You have to come back alive. This is an order." Jeha has on his face that speechless-turned-determination eye expression. I thought it was so genuinely emotional.

I have not gone detailed over Choi Yoo-jin's scene, but obviously Song Yoon-a acts as a very convincing antagonist.
