On the August 9 broadcast of 'Taxi,' Hello Venus's Nara, Nine Muses' Kyung Li, and C.I.V.A's Lee Soo Min talked about what could be a sensitive topic: plastic surgery. 

 

Lee Soo Min coolly admitted to going under the knife, saying, "I did get my eyes and nose done. During 'God of Music' promotions, there were rumors that I shaved my rib cage bones. People said I shaved my ribs for a slimmer waist. I became that girl who changed her face every year. But it's not like that."

When MC Lee Young Ja asked the other girls whether they did any work, Nara confessed, "I'm diligently getting botox shots," while Kyung Li answered, "I never got any plastic surgery anywhere. But I do get botox shots every once in a while."

I don't think rib cage removal is real (as far as I'm aware) but I do know that rib cartilage can be used for nose jobs.

That sounds unrealistic and extremely painful, but in fact many women have done that. I first knew it when Mexican singer and telenovela star Thalia did that and even uploaded a picture of her removed ribs in a jar. Nowadays people also remove their molar teeth to get narrow faces, these kind of procedures have become pretty common. Sad but true.

There's a show here that shows people getting different types of PS and they showed a guy getting his ribs shaved/removed. It's so weird. But anyways, I like her honesty. She looks good.

Yeah its a thing in freakin victorian age! Because slimmer waist (about 20") with big bust and hip was considered beautiful back then. When in my opinion it looks freakishly disproportionate.

 

No idea why people still doin it now....
