Them saying that seems like a last minute thing YG thought he could put in for them to uphold their "best of both worlds", "we can still be girly" and "this is a much different group to YG's traditional image" promise. She's a fan fav not only internationally but i think Korean people find her quite charming. She has this real effortless cool but chill vibe about her that kind of reminds me of GD. Dara, Bom or CL? Company backing 2. fan support Fierce, cute, innocent, edgy, none of that shit matters when you come from a big company that has the freedom to experiment and still get moderate success for what they put out, even if its shit objectively speaking. You do realize that out of the three you have two groups from YG. And if company backing and fan support was the bigger the issue and the only factors that mattered, then why don't ALL the groups from the BIG3 get an all kill with their debut songs? And if company backing and fan support was the bigger the issue and the only factors that mattered, then why don't ALL the groups from the BIG3 get an all kill with their debut songs? if YG stuck to his earlier words and actually debuted a YG snsd, ya'll would've still ate it up, because of the hype surrounding them. the concepts they chose are more of a coincidence, but in the case of YG its more of a matter of going with whats safe and what he knows best. real talk this debut was not all kill worthy, because their songs (whilst good) was nothing we haven't heard that 2ne1 hasn't done. so i really don't see what garners an all kill here. so yea 1.
