Have you ever thought about how Justin Bieber felt?

Being rejected by half of America when all he was trying to do was chase his dreams. Some of you need to look inside yourself, realize that we all have flaws, we all make mistakes, and learn to not be so vile.

This boy's childhood was ruined because he was hated at such a young age. He didn't know whether the next person he ran into would tackle him for an autograph or hurl insults at him. We are at fault for the fall of this teen star and we should apologize.

Let's forget the fact that he was a douche

He called a fan a fat whale and spit on a group of fan's from his hotel balcony, he deserves what's coming to him

Then what did he do in 2009 that warranted so much hate? Nothing! We created this monster!

The worst he got was some hate in the youtube comments made by 13 year old boys, no one ever said anything to his face.

We created nothing, people don't become duches over night.

When he was a kid, yeah he got a lot of unnecessary hate. That paled in comparison to his wealth, fans and fame though. When you're that young and well off, haters are the last to worry about, especially online virtual ones.

But since he became an "adult", he's been behaving like a right dickhead, a product of his own actions and environment. I don't think it's anyone's fault but his own that he gets hate nowadays. No sympathy from me at all.

Justin Bieber had so many teenage fangirls when he was younger, it was only at his debut that he was really hated at but things got better for him as soon as he released his second single and things just took off from there and his ego seemed to have followed.

I saw him earlier this year when he was interviwed by a little girl and I thought he was a sweetheart! Yeah he has done some douchery stuff, but I don't think he is a douche tbh. Like I knew JB from the beginning (we all did lol) and he was a target for massive hatred simply because he sounded too 'gay/feminime.' I don't get why people are saying he deserve the hate because of incidents that happened years later after his career took of. So before the incidents, do you guys think he was deserving of all THAT hate?

He wasn't. He became one when the fame got to him.

Hilarious how people use this as an excuse. He was just a little kid going through a voice mutation, everyone was easy to hate him, calling him gay on every step, questioning his clothes and hairstyle, judging him by one song.

I agree. He grew up into a tryhard douchebag because of the abuse, not the other way around. He did nothing to earn all the irrational hate he was getting early on his career. Imagine being 15(?) and having hate slung at you from every angle by millions, and for no reason other than "you're gay", "look/sound like a girl". A bit traumatizing and anyone would become a defensive asshole after that kind of experience. He probably feels like he has something to prove and is getting mixed messages from society on how he should present himself. "Be more aggressive. But no not that much, that makes you a douchebag. Tone it down. But not too much, don't be a faggot."

And even though he had it 100x times worse, he didn't really turn out that much differently than your average 19/20(?) year old western male, so from that perspective he's not nearly as bad as he's made out to be. Chances are, you have a friend or a family member, or even several, who are bigger assholes than Justin Bieber.

Yeah exactly, and he was even fine just a few years ago, he was just slightly cocky because of the girls but then he came out with his perfume, which fueled the comments even more.

I'm not even a Bieber fan but his case is kinda sad. He could've responded to it in another way, there's no excuse for his actions, but it's not all black and white. He probably lacked guidance back then.

I used to feel bad for him, but now that he acts like a douche my sympathy has waned. I don't think he deserves to be treated like shit of course, but I find it hard to feel very bad for him.
