The worlds athletes representing their home countries have gathered in Brazil but only a few will have the glory of becoming an olympian! so naturally, we will make a betting thread and bet on which country will win which event! this thread was originally meant to be up on Thursday. but due to OH being down and other things its up now. so users can only bet on events which finals are after august 11. bet on sport events between 12 august- 21 august. Link to olympic sport events and schedules Rules: - Everyone is only allowed to make maximum of 10 bets each. For each bet you have to fill out this form: event: gender: medal: country: e,g event: ruining 400 meters gender: mens medal : gold country: france - You can bet on what country win gold, silver or bronze in the same event (e.g what countries win 100 meters gold ,silver and bronze.) this will count as 3 bets and you have to fill out a form for each one. or you can bet on who wins gold on 10 different events - The form has to be filled out properly. if the event is to vauge i wont count it. e.g event: swimming (be very specific) DONT EDIT after the thread is lock or it wont count. - dont bet on events that have already been decided- i have the schedule and will count it as a lost bet. The thread will be locked on 11th august, you can only bet on events which finals are after august 11. bet on events 12 august- 21 august. prizes. for every bet you get correct- you get 5 gold coins. ​if you get all 10 bets correctly you get 5 platinum coins, edit: Link to results post: Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
