Music taste is subjective I know that, but I am not stupid when I say that most of the songs that top the chart are mediocre and sometimes shitty

Can somebody enlighten me and explain to me the taste of the public?

What I know is that they are prejudiced against manufactured boy groups

So how come a show full of scandals with manufactured groups and songs can top the chart?

I get it when their songs enter the top 10 or even top 5, but being number 1? Really?

what i think with the produce 10! topping the charts is that is mainly fandom driven, yes even during peak times because their unique listeners are barely 300k and they didnt even get a roof hit, its like all the korean fandoms who likes the show are streaming you get it? just check the demographics, i might be completely wrong tho lol

I actually dont care about it so its all good, a little salty about Suran tho, i have to admit that

Despite what people say BTS is actually very popular in Korea. I've never been but I have friends who teach there and a recent friend from college who studies Korean there. They are fans and all told me BTS is very popular and you can hear there music all over the place... They don't have a massive hit but to say they are not popular in SK is a tragic lie. I don't engage in trolls when they say that because I know the truth.

Of course they are popular in korea but they absolutely deeserve more and more and more

take the worst Bsides from their discography and compare it to these topping-chart songs and you'll see the difference

V sings the song with tremendous emotions, you can feel them in your bones and moonie's rap makes the song more beautiful

I remember very well some emotional posts about how BTS came together as a group

I want her to know that because she told me that Suga's lyrics destroyed her and felt that he is speaking to her, she wants to know more about them I want her to be more emotional

I highly recommend these videos on Bangtan History. They really helped me to feel their struggle and 

to understand what to watch, in what order etc

This is very OT but I am really exhausted from all the fasting. I feel like I am going to collapse and I had several sleepless nights. I lost around 5 kilo which is not good because I was always on the lower range for the average weight for someone my length. I weight only 45 kilo now. My asthma got really bad but I know if I don't fast people will start to gossip about me and my mother. I don't really know what to do torture myself or let people talk bad about me calling me an atheist again ?

 

This means that you do not eat well during the night especially that you have a weak body.

Actually scientists have proved that fasting is very healthy

I know that its hot and we feel thirsty and hungry, but that's it, fasting is not harmful so don't stress yourself

You won't be able to stop unfortunately. Make it as a reward to yourself with Bangtan update after you have done certain studying and keep it minimun like 5-10 minutes only.  So keep good time management and remember Bangtan wants you to succeed in your life too so you gotta work on it very hard.

We are in the same boat, I work and study with full time fangirl too.

Well you study for some time, and treat yourself with bts-related for some time rinse and repeat. I sometimes doodle things i like during study to have some 'spirit'.

*Lucky im the typ of person need to study with music on so i can blast things i like while studying. Good grief if you also that kind of person

I am not that type who studies for hours straight without doing other things , I am a flop, I always get distracted especially by the things That I love, and BTS are my life  , so no solution here

Actually I can't watch old performances not because of the cringe but because I keep thinking how they were suffering back then, putting all that effort in dancing and singing without winning or getting recognized. Especially that catastrophe Mama 2015, I wish I go back in time to unsee that shit that happened to them or those weekly idol early episodes .
