Instiz: Music teacher is an EXO fan

"Can I report something? I ask to remain anonymous. At my school's music test, this was one of the questions asked. I could have gotten 100 points if not for this question ã…  How does this make sense? How am I supposed to know how many members EXO has?ã… ã… "

17. Fill in the correct numbers within the parentheses.

In the year (  ), groups from large scale companies began promoting actively. HOT, SES, and Fin.KL are considered (  ) generation idols, and today the trend has developed into Hallyu and K-POP with the (  ) members of EXO as representatives.

-

"Even if she mentioned the answer during class, how could she think that this is an applicable question on a test? And it's easy to not know the answer if you don't care about idols... I met a friend recently who didn't know who EXO was at all, which shocked me."

"It doesn't even matter if the teacher mentioned it in class or if the question was meant to be a free point. There are a lot of people who don't know who EXO is."

"This is really wrong..."

"Does the teacher think this test is a joke?"

"Wait, do kids really learn about idol trends in music class these days?"

"I would've refused to take the test if I was a student in her class."

"I wouldn't care if it was an extra credit question but that's really wrong."

"I'm surprised that test question even got through the review."

"I doubt the teacher even mentioned it in class considering the student would have gotten a 100% anyway, which means she pays attention in class."

"I can understand the questions about the years and generations but the number of members...?"

"I wish I had that question on my test."

that teacher needs to be fired due to his or her unprofessional mannerism.

It's not really unprofessional if there actually was a lesson related to EXO.

Kids should learn to open their books and take notes during a lesson. It actually comes in handy.

First saying they are representatives of hallyu and comparing them with HOT, Fin.K.L and SES is just wrong. Second, unless this was a pop culture class, the question is downright unprofessional...

It is unproffesional and messed up. Why does it matter how many members EXO has ? And getting a lower grade for not knowing how many members a pop group has is ridiculous.

I would only understand this if it was a test to see if the students were listening to everything even the little details about music.

if you're not exo fans and don't care about kpop in general, you wouldn't know how many members they have

this kind of question is unnecessary even though it's a music subject test. i don't think amount of members in an idol group is in the learning syllabus

It's not about the number of members. It's not about whether you like idol music or not. It's about how much you pay attention in class, and whether you were taking notes.

I don't like Canadian, American, or World history. I don't care why the War of 1812 took place. I don't care about how WWI or WWII started. I don't care about how many shits Hitler took on December 18th, 1944. But if there is a chance that it'll be on any test, then I assume that I should be writing it down.

You need to change your mindset. 'Cause this kind of thinking is hazardous to your health.

I'm almost certain that there are a lot of subjects you don't care about in high school. But you learn it anyway. And a lot of that useless information is probably still stuck in your head.
