Many c-netizens are wondering why chinese idols and actors aren't easily allowed to enter Korean entertainment market?

I think it's to do with the market size? As a company, why push your source of income into a smaller sized market, when you already have one of the biggest in the world.

With korea, the saturation and tiny market in ratio means companies will have to venture further out to consolidate success and growth. Going from a small market -> bigger one allows for greater consumer demand, and less saturation; making it more possible to succeed and profit. it just doesn't make sense for a business model to go from a massive market to a much smaller one in comparison, especially when korea is already renowned for it's very much saturated acting and idol professions. Not even going to mention pay rate in consequence lmao

Maybe Koreans re racist ? Or maybe the public isn't ok with "chinese" or "Japanese " taking the jobs of their own actors

I mean they talk shit abt korean idols taking acting roles there , let alone a complete foreigner

but I m not sure , these re just assumption that I made over the comments I see on the internet .

why would chinese actors go to korea when korea pays less than what china pays lol

pretty fucking simple

This! The Japanese and Chinese markets are like 20x bigger than the Korean market so why would the Japanese and Chinese celebrities go to Korea ? It makes no sense.

Idk why you're getting negged when what you said is true. Mandapop is so outdated. I facepalm every time I watch The Remix  :derp:
