I can't come close to saying the same for my home country, although things are improving bit by bit. There's just no interest for the other way around. As a company, why push your source of income into a smaller sized market, when you already have one of the biggest in the world. With korea, the saturation and tiny market in ratio means companies will have to venture further out to consolidate success and growth. Going from a small market -> bigger one allows for greater consumer demand, and less saturation; making it more possible to succeed and profit. it just doesn't make sense for a business model to go from a massive market to a much smaller one in comparison, especially when korea is already renowned for it's very much saturated acting and idol professions.
