So Rosalina pretty much secured her spot in the Nintendo universe with this one as this is her 3rd time actually being playable....and I Just got done unlocking and playing as her in Super Mario 3d world too. I'm still waiting for Zelda, Zero Suit Samus, and Meta Knight to be confirmed. Fingers crossed for Knuckles from Sonic The Hedgehog being in this game (I know that's a long shot meh).. That's my problem with this franchise: the developers are so fucking lazy that half of the characters are essentially clones of a more popular character.? that only happened in one entry in the series: melee. there are some characters with similar special attacks in brawl, but their playstyles and usages and effects are actually vastly different, not to mention the non-special movesets are not the same at all. the only nearly copy-cat feature in brawl were final smashes. I really hope she plays differently from either Peach or Zelda... otherwise mehhh the trailer seems promising at least. what? you watched the trailer but you're still concerned that she'll play the same as peach or zelda? she obviously has a very different system; it looks like she may work like captain olimar in the brawl minus hack of brawl (aka sending on pikmin then controlling them at least somewhat manually while still keeping control of rosalina). though it's unconfirmed whether lumas attack automatically or through button input from the rosalina player, judging by the way rosalina's character is constantly waving her wand and stuff, the player is probably inputting those commands manually. her up-air is a sweeping galaxy kick that seems to be a multihit attack with little knockback. her up-b is some sort of launching mechanism. not sure whether luma needs to be with her or not, but it seems like she creates a launch star and springs from it. rosalina's galaxy-making aerial (seems to be up-air) rosalina seemingly manually controlling the luma, then flopping on the deck and flubbing like a fish as her dash attack throw and down-air meteor that seems to create a halo thing what's likely a taunt followed by her up-b some kind of deflector (rather than reflector). unknown if it continues to damage other players while being deflected. it also seemed like she was able to catch items that she deflected and throw them (was possibly a different attack). we also got to see a f-smash and possibly d-smash... and it looks like she manually summons the luma (i think it's just one). no word on what different colored lumas do (but it's probably not because of alternate colors, since rosalina should also change colors if that were the case) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
