Strict Japanese School Rules

I'm already familiar with Japanese school rules after reading this and this. School rules in East Asia seem to be strict in general. The rules at my high school and middle school are pretty lax compared to Japan's. We had some strict rules like no spaghetti tops or super short shorts/skirts for girls, no sagging pants for boys, no smoking, and no cell phone use during school except during lunch/breaks, but that's it.

Nah, the "strictest" rule is probably the fact that we have to change into indoor shoes/slippers

It was a must in elementary, but not so much in high school lol. The only time we do so is when its rumored that the deputy is checking about it, but even so rarely anyone cares (besides freshmen), if you get busted she'll only tell the class teacher and the class teacher could care less

For my high school back then, we have to wear school uniforms and socks which labeled my school name and cost 4 bucks.

For boys, they are not allowed to have long hair and bald.

P.S, I get the long hair but the bald one just :derp:

Some of these I knew about, but the guys talking about the college rules is surprising! No leg hair, no shorts! What?! It's college for crying out loud. Also surprised about the not allowed to be a celebrity, and that you can't wear a high ponytail or bun.

My college had no rules on what to wear, as long as you weren't naked they didn't care. And the strictest rules they had in my high school was skirts/shorts couldn't be shorter than your fingertips, no thin strap tops, no strapless tops, no mid-drift being shown, no cleavage, no unnatural hair colors, and no piercings that weren't on the ears.
