I remember seeing a thread with new group's highest selling albums for every group,

I thought it would be interesting to look at their best selling singles too.

This is the list of each group's best selling single.

Girl Groups:

Twice - Like OOH-AHH (1,604,429)

Mamamoo - Um Oh Ah Yeh (1,188,720)

Red Velvet - Dumb Dumb (1,156,052)

Lovelyz - Ah-Choo (1,042,121)

IOI - Dream Girls (484,199)

OMG - Windy Day (91,139)

DIA - On The Road - (81,811)

Gugudan - Wonderland - (55,887)

Boy Groups:

iKON - My Type (1,522,019)

WINNER - Empty (1,241,299)

If you have other groups' sales that I missed, let me know. Also, please correct

if the numbers are off, these are what I could find.

This is kinda of surprising, Cheer-Up didn't sell better than Ooh-Ahh  and even the You're the best won many music shows and got all-kills, it didn't out-perform UAOY.

Both songs netted great physical sales though

YG being a wall in terms of digital sales for boy groups I see.

Cheer Up was released just 3 months ago...

It will, YtB and Cheer Up came out this year whereas the other songs haven't been around nearly as long.

I hope Cheer Up doesn't surpass LOA though. It probably will, but LOA is the much superior song imo.

lmao you need to judge the time that the song released. songs that are released earlier of course will have more downloads. all the songs on the list are good song

My six precious angels Yeojachingu :chu:

Twice & Mamamoo did really well also, and Lovelyz and OMG is improving!

I won't comment on the boygroups since digital isn't really their strongest aspect, but that's a pretty decent number.
