Ahhh I dunno if this counts but sometimes I'll be asleep but I know my mind is awake, and I try to wake my body up but it doesn't work? It eventually does but it's a really weird feeling and it's so hard to explain.

Thats sleep paralysis. It only happened 2 times to me and it was horrible

I've only had a lucid dream once. I dreamed that this one lady was being really mean to me and at one point, I thought she was being so mean that it couldn't be real. Then I thought, "Okay, if I slap this lady and she doesn't do anything, I'll know I'm in a dream". So I slapped the lady and she didn't do anything, so I decided to walk out of the room we were in to get away from her. I kept trying to think of what I should do in my lucid dream but it was kind of hard to keep remembering I was in a dream and I forgot before I could decide on anything cool to do.

I lucid dream about 2-3 times a week, never intentionally it just happens. If they're not lucid they're just incredibly vivid and memorable.

I have always been an lucid dreamer since I was about 7 years old. I was dreaming a pack of lions were released into my school playground and I managed to manipulate the dream so that nothing bad happened. I didn't realise myself as being completely aware and in control at the time but I was. Ever since I've had the ability to control and think realistically in my dreams on a regular basis.

It's just like a story I make in my brain, if there is a part that scares me I'm like "You should not go there" and the character go somewhere else but most of the time the dream change drastically and I'm not able to go back to where he was.

If that's getting annoying I tell them to do something else and they obey

Also cool thing, when I get up on my own, the next night or week, my dream continue where it stopped :D or to the next scene, just like in a movie
