I don't really go in for shipping 'couples' as I don't care much for OTT fanservice/skinship done by some of the K-Pop groups to help sell product, that does no cause any favours imo. I'd also imagine that it would be super hard (not impossible) to maintain steady couplings when your life is a showcase 24/7. That said, I've been around long enough to know some people do genuinely hide in plain sight, as it were. And that some do fall in love. So... Tae and Y are interesting, it seems the dynamic has changed over time. Like any outsider looking in, I don't know what's going on here (that's totally their business) but it looks more soft and tuned in than ever. It's like when you hit a point with someone where no words are needed, you're just totally comfortable and happy. Also, I noticed Tae has turned the corner into being a man. His chest has filled out and his build has healthily widened to match the height,. His face is now a handsome young man's face rather than a cute boy's. I might be way off base but I feel like the days of Tae being plopped screaming into the aegyo creche are numbered. He looks to be growing up and more on an equal par with his bandmates? As far as that video goes there may have been an issue with some ARMY being neglected re: seating arrangement by pushy $$$ who $$$ their way into the event. If you see the full 1:50 or so minutes Y leans well forward, glances to his right and grimaces and Tae notices and also glances over his own right shoulder, so potentially something is going on with audience/crew/staff/who knows? The intense look that appears to pass between them next could be related to what's going on in the crowd (Y looking a little past Tae at that situation and Tae warning him to stay cool?). I could very well accept this standard explanation. But it feels like something else to me because there's no obvious neck craning at this point from Y (bearing in mind he had to lean right forward to clock whatever it was the first time), also his hint of a smile and that epic snap out of it. Also he looks like he's melting <3. Tae looks steely but soft at the same time. Their eyes deadass meet at exactly the same moment. It's intriguing. It doesn't compute with me that Y's someone who does overboard skinship routines just to bullshit people into buying his music. His work is good, everyone knows it and there's simply no need. I'm not a shipper but peoples interactions fascinate me, some more than others, lol. But I don't want to clog the forum up so will stop here. Bushi 4,298 Posted June 26, 2018 Share Posted June 26, 2018 (edited) There's been so much happening between these two that it's been hard to keep up.Whilst I do think a good deal of the pairings are done on a rotating, deliberate basis that's part n parcel of the stage management of such big groups, I do genuinely think Tae and Y have been paired off lately to cater to the REALLY good thing they've got going right now (which I believe to be natural/organic). They seem to just like being close and doing things together.Tae is the perfect remedy to help Yoongi's social angst (which is at times very obvious). He's so warm and friendly he always seems to get him laughing and joining in.
