I can relate

My main problem right now is messiness

I'm starting to get stuff really accurate but my strokes are always so ugly

Especially in painting

I draw! I also work with Copic markers, colored pencils, charcoals (sometimes) and digital coloring.

It's been an age since I've really been able to sit down and do stuff with my Copics, though.

That's so awesome

I bought PrismaColor markers and I hate them

But Copics are so expensive!

What is your favorite subject to draw?

I'm the opposite of most people here it seems because I can't draw digitally. No matter how hard I try, I can't draw anything on the computer or on a tablet or anything. All of my drawing is done with a pencil (since I can't trust myself to color something correctly unless it's a coloring book). Although I will admit I suck at drawing and the only things I can really "draw" are cartoon/anime characters. One day though I'll learn how to draw well (and with a computer).

I most draw digital, sometimes traditional :)

I can do both but traditional feels like more of a hassle

You have to have every single tool

Constantly sharpen pencils, etc

But then again digital is hard in its own ways, you just have access to everything you could possibly need right in front of you

I work with Prismas occasionally, too! I usually use them to supplement the colors I don't have Copics for. The nice thing is that Copics last pretty much forever, I don't think I've ever run out of them, even my skintones.

Lately it's been Undertale and Overwatch characters, but usually it's my original character Twitch. He's the character I play in Pathfinder campaigns and he's like... basically my favorite creation.

And as you can see, my digital linework leaves much to be desired. :')

It's not easy

Just keep at it

Everyone I ever talked to said they learned to draw on a tablet in a couple weeks

It took me a whole year LOL

Yesss gurl sign me up for this group! I've been wanting to find an artsy crowd to hang out with and talk to. I mostly traditionally draw but I also digitally paint too. I've been wanting to get into traditionally painting and using my markers more but I suck. I've actually been drawing a looot these past few days and have been wanting to talk to some people about it :ohbi:

I draw whenever I can in my free time~ (Jk usually I just end up watching a show for the whole day and regret it afterwards)

I use Copic markers and colored pencils most of the time, I grew up using nothing but colored pencils haha

I started using my drawing tablet more last year, but just for basic stuff.

haha I am the complete opposite, I always get lost in Detail and try to make everything as neat as possible (except for my sketches, they're messy af). I wish I could be messier, messy can look really awesome.

wahhhhh really????

How long have you been painting?

What kind of stuff do you like to paint?

Do you have favorite painters?

Since I'm kinda young, I haven't had a long time painting. Maybe I've been painting for 2 years? But I have been drawing since I was little! Since my two older sisters are super into art and one of them has a career/majors in it, I naturally followed their footsteps. Usually I paint with acrylics and like to paint Studio Ghibli screencaps (which end up being difficult.) I would love to share some on with you guys later! And some of my favorite painters present are audraaclair and inlander on instagram.

Omg dont even say skintones

Finding decent skintones in prismacolors really sucks

Oh I see! Its cute, I like it

And trust me, your linework is 10x better than my current skill level lol

I can draw but a simple one. Sadly i can't focus now for improving on my hobby since i have work now.

Jobs. smh They are the root of all evil
