Me and my friend (@teampied) were doing some searching around for information regarding M.O.A, and since she understands a bit of Korean, she found different information about chanhee, and i just look up information about yui and a few of the rest of the information u  see ;u;

there's gonna be a four member trot unit called "Melody MOA" consisting of Hika, Miva, Chanhee, and Jinhwa. (idk when they're gonna debut) but they're title song is "빵빵터지게"

Hika→ leader + rap + (i think she's lead vocals if not then it's hyena or jinhwa) / she co-produces the group and she wrote the lyrics to their debut song / she also wrote lyrics (whole song and rap sometimes) to other artist/dramas in the past (notably 4minute's dream come true rap) [twitter]

Chanhee→ main dancer + vocals

Miva→ main vocals + maknae / she's born 03/22 (mar.22) [twitter]

Jayoung→ vocals + dance / (she might be the visual)

Jelly→ dance + rap / she's from taiwan

Yui→ vocals + (apparently she's rap too?) + dance / she's from gifu, japan / she's a model and singer / her birthday is 1990/09/14 (sept.14) / she is an rookie actress and a small dj/radiohost / she plays guitar and she is active in running marathons / she's been a model (for PENTY'S) since she was fourteen / she's been with professional ent for a while but i havent found out how long (maybe as long as heyna?) [ameblo] [twitter] (it's pretty hard to find information/videos related to her because japan is so region-locked and they hardly upload videos of her >_<")

Hyena→ (possible lead vocals?) / made her debut in 2008 as a soloist / in charge of their "sexy image" / she's been with the company for a while) / (you can pretty much google/youtube her stuff easily) [twitter

Zebra/Jinhwa→ (lead vocals i suppose) / she's born 09/01 (sept.1) / (she's going to be apart of the new trot unit) [twitter]

there's some member lineup changes going on and i'm not sure if jelly and yui are still apart of the group or not. from what i know, the original lineup was hika, yui, chanhee, miva, and heyna (for an entire year). jayoung and jelly were new members that were added. gina was the newest addition since around december '13/january '14. as of recently, (from the signings and pictures), jelly and yui have been absent from the group. professional ent isn't saying much so i'm confused as ever.

IDC WHAT HATERS R SAYIN

THEY SLAYED ME

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cZmIzt_Kazk

i'm still confused about the members. :\

they did really well! apparently, someone who attended inkigayo said their fans were really loud and cheerful that the pd had to tell them to be quiet LOL really getting that support there! :)

i saw a comment talking about their high-pitched voices were annoying. they can sit their ass down somewhere. it's a girl a know who always critic girl groups like it's nothing. ugh. whatever.

im happy MoA debuted but i'm pretty upset that Professional just basically making themselves look really... ironic to their name. (i'm still mad about them never promoting Kibum properly so i know they're gonna shit on MoA and make them look bad :\ i really hope they dont screw MoA up... i really hope they dont... >_<)

OMG Jelly wasn't here? I'm rly pissed off  now

okay so on the official fancafe and naver, they're including jelly as an official member BUT from previous shows she was never with the group at all. it was always yui and jinhwa. yui has been with the group for like a year. why are they dropping her (if they are) if she's been with the group for so long? what the hell is wrong with professional ent? like why cant they just be a normal company and stick to their original plan.

1. I spoke with a guy on twitter and says that Jelly was not there,so Yui and what's worse,Yui isn't even listed as an official member

2. Gina's listed as an official member

3. Debut in February, and unit in March? And trot? :omg:

I thought the worst company was Purplei ent but I was wrong :._.:

My destiny is my fav girl groups to be in the worst companies :soul:

if you're talking about @kimtaemints, that's me and i'm a girlㅜㅜ

idk i just didnt see jelly on the night performance or starcam (but i did see jinhwa and yui), but on naver and the fancafe only jinhwa and jelly are said to be official members. they even took off yui's face and put jinhwa's instead :(

see?

223356335309C4101861A0

the unit is trot.

im so mad bc professional is like... idk i guess bc they're an extremely small, cheap, low budget company they have absolutely no idea what they're doing. they barely even promoted allen kibum when he had his solo digital single. they barely promote him in general. i guess they're heavily relying on MOA but they're such a bad company. idk im just so mad >:(

Oh sorry kkk

So,the only one who left is Yui right? There were 7 girls on inkigayo but with Jelly leaving and with Yui being replaced by Gina would be 6 so idk

but btw on their starcam on MNET Japan there is no Jelly.

Are they playing hide&seek? ><

i said that like fifty times but idk if u are reading what im saying. yui and jinhwa were in the starcam and night performance, but jelly wasnt. jelly has been stated as an official member along with jinhwa.

Yui is still with the company but she's not in the group.

On the official site they list:

  • Heyna (Lee Eunjung)
  • Park Chanhee
  • Hika (Maeng Yooyeong)
  • Miva (Kim Seulgi)
  • Zebra (Jung Jinhwa)
  • Yoo Jayoung
  • Jelly (Zhang Jiyun)

as MOA members while Yui is just a soloist.

140227 M! Countdown:

at first they were getting rejected because of their company and low budget production but they're being more accepted. the person who posted that information wasnt even a staff member. it was a fan... o.o

and they're fans (such a REALLY small amount) are so freaking loud though. i guess that's good but like WOW they're loud.

According to this article here, M.O.A has trained for seven years (I'm not sure if this is 100% right because I just recently found out MOA started off as a Japanese-Chinese-Korean project group back in 2009. Heyna was the only girl I read who signed with the company as a soloist in 2009, then Yui as a soloist in 2012. Heyna, Hika, Zebra, Miva, and Yui were the only ones I remember being together as a group.) and the producer of "전화할게(I'll Call Ya)" also produced U-KISS's "만만하니(Am I That Easy?)" and g.o.d.'s "보통날(Normal Day)".

Also, I'm not 100% sure on this part, but I believe the other girl who performs on stage with M.O.A is Dain. I saw her name written on some fansigned CDs, and she even had her own nametag for the practice video pictures.

this is from Yui's post on december 20th last year. it took me a while, but i figured out this was the shooting for "I'll Call Ya"... the solo shots look pretty similar.

(i'm not sure about that last one though. it might be for something else, but when i rewatched "I'll Call Ya"'s MV, i noticed that some of Yui's shots look like from the first two pictures above.)

here's another post from Yui with M.O.A from October of last year

MOA (Heyna, Miva, Zebra, and Hika) with Photographer Seokhyun!

On the post, the photographer wrote that MOA had difficulties with their debut, and he also mentioned that these four (apparently) were the original girls. (It's weird because I remember seeing Yui as an original member too.) He said "it started out with these four, and now it's seven!" He also said Zebra (girl group Flying Girls) and Heyna (soloist) are his friends who had already debuted before while Hika and Miva are some of his friends with a lot of talent.

According to this article here, Professional is planning on releasing a Japanese version to "전화할게" in Japan in the future. They also performed a rap version of the song with Choi Hongman for their MTV The Show performance which broadcasts March 4th.

According to this article, Miva is apparently the leader and main vocal. (They said it was Hika though?) She was given her name "Miva" because she wore a specific, unique kind of pants that resembled garbage. (If someone understands Korean better and can decipher the meaning better, please tell me. I'm going off of Korean->Japanese translations (since I'm better at Japanese) but even then, the translations in Japanese get lost. ;A;)

Is Professional already trying to media play MOA with lies? This article posted that after five days MOA's music video has over a million views but it's barely even at 100k views. Um, am I missing something or...? The video they linked wasn't Professional's either. It was Asiandream or w/e account that uploaded it. I'm a bit upset. :<

M.O.A is gaining popularity in Korea now since Professional added Choi Hong Man to their performance (who will always be performing with them on their Show Champion (March 5) and Music Bank (March 7) stage), they have become a hot topic.

I have discussed it with my friend and apparently, Miva's stage name means "(미)친 (바)지" the parts in "()" is her stage name and that phrase just means "crazy pants" bc Miva wore weird, unique pants to her audition lol

Music Bank 03.07.2014

http://youtu.be/PA_wDvtp1Bk

I'm guessing from the concept photos below, these are suppose to be the members but Jelly was not in any live performances for "I'll Call Ya". After watching the MV again in slow motion and trying to recognize the girls, I don't think Jelly is in it. Maybe someone else can confirm that.

did u even look at my previous posts or...?

bc i explained already pretty much the whole situation. moa is an all korean girl group. consisting of dain, zebra/gina/jinhwa (she has three names), hika, heyna, chanhee, miva, and jayoung

Run For Your Dream MV

INFORMATION:

-Dainbi and Miva, who were both athletic students back in highschool, and Yoo Seungwook, a model apart of Professional, pitched in for the idea of this project. It's for a marathon race that's going in Korea. It's to give hope to the participants. They lyrics were written by the girls. I'm thinking Hika wrote and composed it, but she could have just written it. I'll find more information later. The girls also choreographed the dance. The marathon starts March 29th.

I assume none of us know Korean, huh?

My language field is Japanese, so I can't understand Korean either. Ugh.

RADR0143_140317001603.jpg

MOA did go on Arirang K-Poppin', but since I didn't know, I missed it. I asked the staff if they can post their interview on AOD, and they did! You can listen here, but if you don't have time to listen, I'll post everything they said for you. Half of these are what I picked out, and there other half is from this here. It all comes from their interview :)

- All of the members are straightforward with their thoughts, but Miva takes it forth the most

- Hyena sometimes talks to herself, and she prefers if the members talk to her more

- Hyena was voted the member who always has to check herself in the mirror
- They live in a dorm and share one bathroom.

- Miva thinks Hyena gets upset the most

- Since their CEO wants MOA to be a performance group, the girls, themselves, have been changing their choreography to create different versions for each stage but they get injured from that

- Their CEO doesn't really tell them ahead of time when they get a new schedule, so they only have so long to prepare for where they're going

- Hyena was the last member to join the group, and when she did Z-bra stared her down which made Hyena feel a it uncomfortable

- When they first heard "I'll Call Ya", their CEO personally sang the song, but the girls didn't like it. After Hika reworked on the song and resang it for them, they liked it better
- All the member are B or O blood types.
- MOA means Member of Asia. They have a inside joke that they are the mental break down("Menboong") of Asia.
- Hika is nicknamed the executive producer of the group, because she is very hands on with the groups music.
- They promoted in china for a few months, they say it was their hardest and most memorable experience so far

- Hika's name is a mixture of the words "(Hi)dden (Ca)rd" (Trump Card), not part of a Japanese name; and Z-bra's name comes from the fact that she loves zebra-designed outfits

- When Hika met Hyena, she was surprised to found out Hyena has such a baby-like personality despite her sexy appeal

- MOA wants to get a rookie award, release two or three more albums, and they're preparing for a unit group

- Hyena is the member who practices (their dancing, etc) the most when everyone's on break while Z-bra is the one who sings the most (Hika thinks she should save her vocals for programs like 1000 Song Challenge, etc)

- Miva takes the longest to get ready

- MOA apologized for doing a cover for EXO's Growl, but the only reason they did it was because their CEO told them to do covers of boy groups to get a different feel of performance. In that thought, they think VIXX's Voodoo Doll was their biggest inspiration for performance ideas

- Hyena likes VIXX because she loves their choreography and performances. Her favorite member is Ken.

- Hika likes BoA because she loves her style and listening to her music. She plays it too much

- Miva likes Shinhwa because of their teamwork and open-mindedness

- Z-bra likes Joo Youngmin because she respects them as an artist

- Hika likes chicken, Hyena loves tteokbeokki, Z-Bra loves anything, and Miva loves pork belly

- Hika prefers cat eyes in a man; Hyena prefers a man like Kwon Sangwoo because of his body proportion and face (she cried when he was announced married LOL); Miva prefers Ko Soo because of his voice and face when he acts is "really sexy"; Z-bra prefers any man but Hika said for the longest Z-bra liked Jang Woohyuk

- Z-bra and Hika would like to go on Happy Together since they're good at talking; Heyna wants to go on any shows that could show off her body; and Miva wants to go on Laws of the Jungle

- MOA would practice Big Mama's Break Away a lot during their practice (they performed a small a capella portion on the interviewand it was really good!! they have perfect harmony~)
