Lee Da Hae, Shinji, and Jo Hye Ryeon to Take Legal Action Against Prostitution Rumors

With the rumors of a celebrity prostitution ring still spreading around, Lee Da Hae, Koyotae’s Shinji, and Jo Hye Ryeon will each be taking legal action against the netizens who first spread such stories around. 

On December 17, Lee Da Hae’s legal team stated in a press release that it’s truly unfortunate that such rumors have spread, but as they are groundless, the team will be taking legal action against the first person who created the rumor. 
 

“As a celebrity, she has been patient with all sorts of ridiculous rumors and malicious comments, but the recent situation has gotten even more serious with actual names being thrown in that more damage is being done,†said Lee Da Hae’s side. The team decided it cannot just overlook the situation since it can reoccur in the future and will take legal action so that the investigation can serve as an example. 

Shinji’s company, ITM also stated that it has asked the police to search for the first netizen who spread the rumor as her image has been greatly damaged by a false story. 

“Putting her title as a celebrity aside, Shinji has been feeling much misery and humiliation as a woman,†said her agency. “Her family is also suffering because of this.â€

Jo Hye Ryeon’s agency, Koen TN, stated that Jo Hye Ryeon and the people around her are suffering due this false rumor. In order to stop image and reputation from being damaged further, the agency has sought out the police to find the first netizen who spared the rumors.

Beginning December 13, news reports of prosecutors investigating a large prostitution ring involving top actresses began to surface, causing rumors to spread about which celebrities were involved. Lee Da Hae and Shinji were named, as well as Jo Hye Ryeon, who was titled as the madam in the situation.

Neither one is married. Jo Hye Run had a public separation/divorce during which she took a break from variety shows and Shinji is back together with her basketball player boyfriend, but I don't think there's been any marriage announcement.
