Causes of dandruff & how to get rid of them

Idk if this should be in Beauty or here. Anyway, I have like very visible dandruff despite washing my hair once everyday with an anti dandruff shampoo. There's also very thick thingy (is it dandruff too?) on my scalp. I can literally peel it off. It's very thick and half of my scalp is cover with it. May I know how I can get rid of it? I used to use heads & shoulders but it seems to be getting worse, and I heard that h&s can be too strong so I changed to CLEAR. Any advice? It's embarrassing, I have to wear a cap when I go out. I am also always tempted to peel the thing off my scalp but when I do, more hair falls OTL All advice appreciated. Thank you so much!

Add tea tree oil to your shampoo and wash like you usually do. Also drink lots of water etc etc. Also apply lemon juice to scalp.

so I just did a really quick search and some are people are saying it could be a fungal infection called tinea capitis  

but I think you should definitely hit up a dermatologist about that because it doesnt sound very pleasant

Try tresemee scalp care anti dandruff . It works on me

Or try selsun blue shampoo it contains selenium sulfide 2%

sounds like you might what to go to a dermatologist, because that sounds serious if you're able to pull off things from your scalp 

 

for me, i mix tea tree oil into the shampoo im using

selenium sulfide

salicylic acid+ketoconazole.
