Of course I hope my bias groups find success but it's not a requirement for me to become a fan. It gets on my nerves when people bring up sales/popularity as a reason their bias group is "better." But it also gets on my nerves when fans of lesser-known groups put down fans of successful groups. Everybody just needs to respect each other's preferences.
