BetweenYourThighs 2,958 Posted July 25, 2016 Share Posted July 25, 2016 So up to this point people have been for and against Twice's success like with any other new coming group, but fact still remains that they've had a huge impact with their music. But is Twice's success well earned? The opnions may divide, but watching SIXTEEN has definitely proven how hard working, talented and enthusiastic the girls are about what they do. So in my opnion (and in most I hope) the success is well earned and deserved. I do hope more groups get known and acknowledged for everything they put into their music and performance level. There are a ton of groups that don't sleep to prepare for comebacks but what happens? Most groups don't get the success that is deserved for them. Even tho it gave Somi, who didnt even make it, enough popularity to start and finish in the top of rankings in Produce 101? You know popularity is gained and they already debuted with an advantage, some groups have start from absolut 0. I'm not saying they dont "deserve" it but they aren't sucessfull because of hard work lmao, no group in kpop becomes successful because of hard work. No. But more people like her, more people listen to her music and more people are willing to go see her concerts. That's just how it is. Everyone in Kpop works hard and barely sleeps but if you don't have music or something else (visuals, variety, big company appeal, proper promotion) to stand out then you won't stand out. If you do then you will. That's all it is. You can say the same thing about every group that's big in Kpop. Why are they popular and not some other nugu with this good quality or that good quality?
