Song Il Gook expresses his confidence in pulling off the ambitious undertaking, “I am really good at putting up tents. I was a boy scout. 10 minutes is all I need!†He continues, “I imagine building a bonfire and roasting marshmallows.†In the preview stills, the triplets can be seen in front of a big, sturdy-looking tent, all bundled up in adorable matching camping gear, complete with bunny ears. On the February 22 episode of “Superman Returns,†Man Se looks for a chair so he can sit with his dad Song Il Gook in the living room. While his brothers just sat in their respective seats, Man Se insists on sitting in Chu Sarang’s pink chair. When Song Il Gook asks him if he likes Sarang and if they should go see her again, Man Se just nods, adorably expressing his longing for his close friend. Out of sight, out of mind is definitely not the case for Man Se and Sarang. He revealed in an interview recently that “the children are growing up well. They got quite a lot bigger.†He said, “If they’re with me, people sometimes still recognize them. I think they’re getting a bit used to that.†However, he added, “But since we live in a quieter neighborhood, after a month or two after leaving ‘Superman Returns,’ we were able to get back to our normal routine.†Jang Hyun Sung started KBS2‘s variety show “Superman Returns†in Septemberof 2013 with his two sons. He unfortunately had to leave the show eight months later due to his schedules and so that the boys could focus on school. While “Superman Returns†was popular when Jang Hyun Sung and his children were on it, the program became even more popular as Song Il Guk and his triplets took his place. When asked whether he had any regrets about leaving the show, he said, “Not at all. I think leaving the show was a good decision for both me and my kids.†He also revealed, “I still spend as much time with my kids as I did when I was on ‘Superman Returns.’ The thing that changed is that I don’t cook as much anymore.†He also said, “I have a lot of work right now, but I’m not as busy as you might think. However, on the latest episode of “Superman Returns,†the youngest triplet, Man Se, ran into a bit of trouble adjusting to the change and provided viewers with a good laugh. On the broadcast of KBS’ variety show “Superman Returns†that aired on March 15, cameras captured Man Se changing into underwear all on his own without the help of his dad. Dad Song Il Gook warned his sons, “Now that you’re wearing underwear, you have to make sure to tell me if you need to go to the bathroom,†to which Man Se nodded, showing that he understands. He lends the lyrics from EXID’s hit “Up & Down,†and tells his boys, “Up and down, up and down, is how you move the toothbrush.
