Tbh I was kinda disappointed about the twins + triplets meeting. It's not their fault but my expectations were way too high. The triplets don't really play well with the twins due to the age difference. There wasn't alot of interactions between them. Also, the dads don't "click" very well. They were being polite to each other and fretting over the responsibility of looking after 5 kids because they don't seem to bond well enough to have a common understanding on how to assign the duties.

Tablo and Haru to Say Farewell to “Superman Returnsâ€

 

 

To the disappointment of fans of Epik High’s Tablo and his daughter Haru, it has been reported that they will soon be saying farewell to the KBS variety program “Superman Returns.â€

 

The upcoming December 28 broadcast will be the father-daughter duo’s very last episode on the show. It is said that Tablo came down to this decision due to his music promotion schedules that conflicted with filming for “Superman Returns.â€

 

In their place, actor Uhm Tae Woong and his daughter will be joining the families of Lee Hwi Jae, Chu Sung Hoon, and Song Il Gook on “Superman Returns.â€

 

According to an industry insider on December 2, Uhm Tae Woong is expected to begin filming for the show this week. The insider revealed to Star News, “Uhm Tae Woong is scheduled to take part in the first shooting [of the show] this week, and will hit the airwaves soon.â€

 

The actor tied the knot with his ballerina wife, Yoon Hye Jin, in January of 2013, and the couple welcomed their first child, Uhm Ji On, later that year in June. Cameras will soon be filming the father-daughter duo as they spend 48 hours together, and their first broadcast will air on January 4.

1. [+635, -79] So they're eventually leaving. Even if their part was boring, Haru's such a beautiful child ã… ã…  am I the only one disappointed that we can't see her anymore... They probably saw all of the comments asking them to leave the show... Grow up well, Haru!

2. [+574, -62] People have been saying a lot of bad things but I really loved Haru for how nice she is and I'm sad she's leaving. Great work so far and I hope Haru grows up healthily and beautifully.

People claim that they thought Haru's parts were boring because of Kang Hye Jung getting too much screentime but it's just an excuse because they refuse to accept that a child is growing and maturing and no longer the cute baby they want her to stay forever. I want Sarang's family to leave the show too. The more Sarang matures, the more things people are finding wrong with her. The public just wants a doll, a doll that never grows up and stays the exact cute baby they first saw. Shows like this need to keep the kids between 2-4 years old and take them off once they grow up because the public will inevitably grow tired of them and throw hate at the kids.

I'm relieved Tablo is leaving the show because Haru will soon starts school and watching her throwing first pitch on that baseball game I felt her self consciousness about the others. Maybe she can come by once in a while but seeing how the kids left and never came back I doubt it will be happening :/.

Hello! I just discovered "Return of the Superman" in Youtube last week but I finished almost all of the episodes. Btw, I will miss Haru and Tablo very much because honestly, they're my favorite and they're the one I discovered first. Too bad they'll have their farewell. I just wish Haru will do good in school and make more friends. Even they'll not be in the show anymore, I'm certain that both of them will use all of the lessons they learned from the show.

I struggle looking after my nephew and niece who are 2 and 4. Sean is like, 7 kids charging around, whats the big deal. Might make the other dads look bad though, hell might make dads everywhere look bad in comparison.

(From latest unsubbed episode) So sad, Il Kook has glaucoma and Hwijae has cataracts. Il Kook's glaucoma is serious and he will have to go in for surgery or he'll be blind in 10 years  There is no cure for glaucoma, you can only slow the progression. Manse has astigmatism and Daehan has myopic vision (I have both problems huhuhu). Minguk is the only one with good vision.

 

Edit: It sounds like Il Kook went to the hospital for more exams after and it is not as serious as initially suspected. Hopefully he has many more years of good eyesight. I wonder if we will see Daehan and Manse wearing glasses from now on.

Man Se Smooches Chu Sarang on the Lips on “Superman Returnsâ€

 

 

Man Se and Chu Sarang became friends on “Superman Returns.â€

 

On the episode of KBS2’s “Superman is Back†that aired on December 21, Song Il Kook’s triplets met with Chu Sarang and her dad in Tokyo.

 

While Chu Sung Hoon made hamburger steaks, Song Il Kook played with the children by reading a picture book for them. The triplets and Chu Sarang were captivated by Song Il Kook’s lively story telling.

 

While reading, Song Il Kook asked Man Se to “Give Sarang a kiss,†which he did right away without any doubt, surprising the audience. The two seemed to have become good friends, playing around and touching each other’s face during naptime as well.

 

Afterwards, the triplets and Chu Sarang had a great time together while eating Chu Sung Hoon’s homemade hamburger steak.

 

The children’s healthy appetite, which has been their trademark on “Superman Returns,†especially shined during dessert, when all four shoved strawberries in their mouth and enjoyed their treat. As the eldest, Chu Sarang could be seen taking care of the triplets, sharing her strawberries with Man Se.

Song Il Kook to Donate All Proceeds from Sale of Triplets’ 2015 Calendar

 

 

After many viewers of “Superman Returns†requested a chance to purchase the triplets’ calendar created by their dad, actor Song Il Kook, it has been revealed that the 2015 calendar will be going on sale!

 

On a previous episode of “Superman Returns,†cameras showed Song Il Kook dressing up his three sons, Dae Han, Min Gook, and Man Se, for a calendar photo shoot. Following the broadcast, a large number of requests came in to be able to buy their calendar, leading to the decision to produce more for the public to purchase.

 

On December 23, a representative of the actor’s agency shared, “[song Il Gook] was only planning to send the triplets’ calendar to close family and friends as a year-end greeting card. However, a lot of people showed their love, so the calendars have been made into desk calendars, and will be up for sale.â€

 

The rep continued, “With a thankful heart for the love for the triplets, [the calendars] have been created for a good cause. All of the proceeds from the sale will be donated for social contribution.â€

 

The calendars are currently up for pre-order from December 24-31 through an online shopping mall, and are scheduled to begin delivery on January 5.

Chu Sung Hoon Reveals He Found Out about Sarang and Man Se’s Kiss Through “Superman Returns†Broadcast

 

 

Chu Sung Hoon recently revealed that he belatedly found out about daughter Chu Sarang’s kiss with Song triplet Man Se after seeing it on television through the latest episode of KBS‘ “Superman Returns.â€

 

On December 27, the live broadcast of the 2014 KBS Entertainment Awards opened up at the KBS New Wing Open Hall.

 

During the year-end awards ceremony for KBS variety shows, the Popularity Award was given to the children of “Superman Returns:†Haru, Sarang, twins Seo Un and Seo Jun, as well as triplets Dae Han, Min Gook, and Man Se.

 

When the children and their dads went up to the stage to receive the award, Chu Sung Hoon was asked, “Were you aware that Man Se and Sarang shared a kiss?†In response, he explained, “I didn’t know at the time, but I found out after watching the broadcast. I was very surprised. Even I have never [kissed her],†causing laughter amongst those in the audience.
