kxjay 3,543
what settings did you have it on when exporting it as a gif? not too sure, but i believe 256 colors, and no dither save for web > check if it is in 256 colors lol that's what i did the gif is also ripped from a 1080p video if that helps
SAUCY 44,499
haven't done gifs in ages, but back when i made them I would... download a 740 px video (minimum)...better if its 1080 and edit the colours...make things pop out. it'll look nicer even if you can still see strange patches and if i was making a gif that long, i'd set it to 3 frames when importing the vid to reduce the size (i know some people also use a program like topaz to denoise, which makes it look smoother...tho i personally don't like it) sadly there's only so much you can do with a gif. it only allows certain amount of colours, so as a result, real life pics downgrade in quality. if you're desperate, you can try making it b&w

deobizone 7,779
the reason your file is so big is because there's so many layers/frames, if you cut down a bit, file size will go down but you'd probably also have to edit frame timing accordingly. slushie 218
sorry, im not a pro ps user but what exactly does diffusion do? this person explains it well but i prefer to use diffusion over pattern the quality is bad because i saved as diffusion when the original gif had no dither but yeah, editing the colors makes a big difference! Loketâ™” 4,144
You could also try to download videos that are .ts files,I rarely get my videos from yt since Photoshop reduces the quality of videos Use smart sharpen and I like to use Topaz Clean and Denoise but that isn't necessary, you can use some sharpening actions to Searhc yeahps on tumblr and you have all the guides and tutorials
