Their visuals deffo helps, but they've got good personalities and chemistry as a group. I think you and many others forget how much SNSD was and still is criticized for their vocals. even their vocal line gets bashed a lot (for no reason imo.) if you believe them to be untalented, I really think you should check out some of the Sixteen performances. Jungyeon's vocals are especially impressive, though you wouldn't know it because she gets very few lines in their title tracks. I know they have some great performers but I don't think their current choreo shows that. About de-crowning SNSD, that's something very unpredictable for any girl group at this stage.
