Now before you say anything, I just want to add a little disclaimer: this thread's goal is not to shame these women but to embrace some things that are usually considered a shame.

 

Fun fact (or not): most women have cellulite, regardless of being skinny or fat, healthy or unhealthy.

It's natural to have cellulite as well as stretch marks and *gasp* body hair. 

 

I hate how the media has distorted how women really look like and how we view beauty.

I guess it just depends on the person, or sometimes even the culture. Like for example, Japan likes crooked/big teeth while anywhere else people would get it fixed.

People just honestly fail to see beauty in things. We are taught that straight teeth are more desired/beautiful but is that really true?

I'd rather not conform to what society says it's an imperfection because imperfections make us unique.

I don't think men in general mind much. It might vary though.

The best thing about tastes is that there's always someone who likes what others do not. So what might be something the person is anxious about is something that others think adds charm.
