I don't mind Seohyun's crying scenes. It's true that there are some things you can do to make it look more aesthetically pleasing, but sometimes visual appeal comes at the cost of sacrificing realism and intensity in the scene. The pretty crying with stray tears running down an expressionless face just doesn't win me over; but this is Korea and visuals matter a lot, so I understand where the worry comes from. However, even then I don't think she looked bad. K-netz are always praising her visuals anyways, so I think the focus should be more on winning them over with a convincing performance.
 
Here's Viola Davis crying effortlessly and nobody cares how she looks. That's why she's been nominated for an Oscar 3 times and won once.

@pumpernikiel I feel the same way. I thought it would be sad that Seohyun was leaving SM (and by extension SNSD, supposedly) but for some reason I find it kind of liberating. It's as if Seohyun just opened the door to new possibilities that she never would have experienced under SM's management. It feels like I'm stanning from the beginning with a new idol because everything is so unpredictable; it's exciting. When Jessica left (or got kicked) I stayed off of forums for almost 2 months because I was so upset, and Jessica wasn't even one of my favorite members, in fact, she was in the bottom 3. But for some reason with Seohyun, Sooyoung, and Tiffany's leave, I don't feel the same way. I'm not upset; I am somewhat sad, but only for the nostalgia, not because I actually feel despair for Seohyun's situation.

I hope these are for a new photoshoot. I was going through Seohyun's 2017 pictorials for awards season, and noticed most of the photos are illegible for badge submissions. So many photos where her eyes are closed, or side profiles. Some of the DSN photos have strong color filters (like the ones where her skin is yellow), and a lot of them have her hair covering half of her face or one of her eyes. And I don't wanna use the Holiday Night photos because I hated her styling there. Hopefully these photos are from an upcoming photoshoot because I like them more than most of the photos I saw.

I thought we knew this? From the initial translation it was clear that this was just the North Korean defector's opinion and that he was just in attendance; not that he was performing. I mean, why would a North Korean defector perform with a North Korean orchestra/performance group?  Wouldn't you try to keep a low profile if you were a defector?

Does Seohyun have bangs or does she not have bangs? Every other picture I've seen of her recently has her with a different hairstyle. In drama related pictures and her recent selca (which may be old), she seems to have bangs in all of them. In other non-drama related promotions like her fansigning and her Korean Unity ambassador thing and presidential dinner, she doesn't have bangs. Why is she trying to confuse us?  I really wish she'd ditch the bangs for the drama, too many people have that same hairstyle and I've already talked about how I don't like straight bangs like those before. Side-swept bangs or no bangs >>>>>

It's gonna have some, Seohyun is with Kim Joon-han's character in the beginning and then she and Kim Jung-hyun's characters fall in love from what I've read.

I saw it today and was surprised. But then i remembered that fans talking about how Seo was treated during Twinkle. I'm glad that I came to the fandom after Twinkle and didn't see all this. It saved my heart 

There's a reason I still can't stand Sones to this day. I still defend SNSD when it comes to other fandoms dragging the group, like I do here on the forum, but I've been over that fandom for years now. I don't understand why we're expected to be decent when they've shown nothing but how disrespectful they are towards Seohyun and her individual stans.
