Korean Cheesy Songs?

Is there any cheesy korean songs that are really famous but most of people dont like it?

Like the 'Ai se eu the pego' that Super Junior sang in the SS5 in South America. Some months ago I was constantly listening to that song on the radios, tv, streets, etc. That song became really famous but most people doesnt consider it a good song. Of course SJ singing it gave it a whole new meaning ( being a little biased :hurr: )

Is there any like this in korean songs?

SNSD's Gee probably.

Seriously? I was expecting some alternative songs like trot or someting else...

Do you think that by being overplayed can became cheesy despite the song being good??

I think so. From what ive seen, gangnam style is not that bad, but because the song is overplayed, people would just, not this again. I think I heard someone said this, "gangnam style is not that bad, but its also not a song that has the value to be overplayed"

Im not sure if I answer your question tho, but i hope it helps.

But from my point of view, I would say nope. If the song is good, then it will always be good no matter how many times it is being played. :)

I agree with you. As there has been a long time that 'Gangnam Style' has been played repeteadly I am starting to listen the song and really enjoy it for the first time XD

But I see what you mean, I never get tired of 'It Has To Be You' by Yesung. It is so good :lub:

Gee is a good composition but the lyrics are cheesy as hell.

Yes, but I think the repetitive and slightly silly lyrics is the main reason why it became so popular so can't blame them

Now that I am thinking... there are a lot of k-pop songs with lyrics repetitions, but as you said its the composition that makes them good and eventually famous.

Nowadays not only are they repetitive but also badly composed. Sometimes when I hear the first few lines of some songs I just exit the video.

"Don't leave come back to me gurrrl"

"You're the only one"

"I love you too much"

"I don't know, I don't know!" or "I just didn't know" (done with horrible aegyo)

"From your head to your toes you're too perfect"

"Really really" said repeatedly (usually "cheongmal cheongmal")

"I can't think" / "I can't breathe" / "I'm dying"

Bubble Pop was incredibly cheesy, well not sure that's the right word but it sure wasn't a masterpiece. It's only the chorus that brings it down

Not to mention ice cream

I think ice cream was a little better, but I see what you mean..

90% of 2pm's cf songs are cheesy...but since they are cf songs..it's expected i guess

and though i love both songs, i'd say Wonder Girl's "Tell Me" was probably more along the cheesy side compared to 'nobody"

Although I am not very familiar with those two groups I thought Wonder Girls was a really popular group with really good songs.. The only song I like by them is 'Like This', it is really happy and really different than 'tell me' and 'nobody'.

you guys have no idea what cheesy is

So can you tell me what you think is cheesy?
