But... isn't curry a typical Indian dish? They use it a lit but what seems to bother them is how they are only known because of the curry? This. I think they're rather embracing the concept of the Indian culture. I know comparing isn't great, but for an example, what do people first think of Australians? Kangaroos, shrimp on the barbie, desert. It's the most part because they aren't educated in the traditional / proper culture of India, so they go for what's talked about the most from the country. I cant say much on it since im not indian but the "curry-dol" tag and that "indian dance/cosplay" they do whenever windy day is playing is going too far imo. I can see why people would find it offensive since it reinforces stereotypes and it does seem like they're making a joke out of the indian culture. I will have to watch those clips tho... Most people recognise it as an Indian beat, so people will obviously ask their thoughts on the country / the girls will showcase it. Were they being racist? Yeah.
