Basically China and Phillipines are fighting over several island and each country claim it's theirs. Philippine won the right to the islands espcially when you consider how close the islands are to PH.. anyways, the Chinese idols posted about how the islands belong to China and that upsetted a lot of SEA especially Piny and Viet fans because it has affected many of their countrymens fisher work which, for the vast majority of them, i the only source of income.. lots of K-netz are uncomfortable with Chinese Idols posting their support for China because they're afraid it would affect SK too Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Nyai 4,059 Posted July 15, 2016 Share Posted July 15, 2016 They uploaded photos supporting China borders policy (China claims practically all east sea is their and it's having a lot of problems with other countries (philipinas, vietnam...)because China don't let them fish, there have been even death fishermen, people really hungry... basically imperialistic China bullying poor people from other countries again). It's a complicated matter because chinese public is demanding chinese stars (specially the ones outside of China) to be in favour of China (and Fei, Lay, etc... did) so we can't be sure if it's the real opinion of the idols or they are somewhat forced to do it. As a fan of Fei, I'm really dissapointed in her even if I can understand the position she is being put in. I'm not sure if I want to keep supporting her or not, because there are some chinese celebrities (Jackson, for example but he is from Hong Kong so maybe he is more free to do so) that didn't post anything.
