Those people won't live their lives the same ever again, prison is a horrible place for starters and the fact that their struggles will continue when they get out of prison is messed up too bc once you're out it isn't all alright again. Do you know how difficult it is for ex-convicts to find a job? Do you know how difficult it is for ex-convicts to be rehabilitated into society? It's ridiculous. Hell Kwon Sang Woo was drunk and hit into a parked car and then crashed into the cop car which chased him. He then got out of his car and ran away and didn't turn himself in until a day or so later. Because of the elapsed time his blood alcohol could not be tested so he couldn't be proven to have been drunk... but he still caused two accident and fleed from police.
