if u have a fast metabolism... + the friends around u

do u still eat anything and everything? eat when you're bored etc. in short, do u not rly care about what u eat and just eat whatever u want? or do u still take care of ur health?

 

my immune system was horrible and i got fever once a month. i cannot stay under the sun for more than 10 mins, or i'd get a fever. each time i got a fever, it lasted a week. in short, my health was bad. so i try to eat healthily etc., but my overweight friends like to diss me. "thought u didnt care about ur weight?" "thought u said u hated wasting food, so eat the chicken skin." (it's not even my chicken skin, but hers). etc. it is very frustrating... i don't care about my weight, but i care about my health. and my weight is, in a way, linked to my health. 

 

what about u? how do u eat? (p.s. u can still answer even if u dont rly belong to the fast metabolism grp)

 

personal opinion, it may be better to have a normal metabolism? since u will be more mindful of what u eat without being restricted too much. i notice that, in particular, males with fast metabolism tend to eat badly (aka all the males in my father's side)

my metabolism is extremely fast, I think it's my father's side. I don't eat much to begin with, though I wish I did. It's difficult having a fast metabolism + not eating a lot. I lose a lot of weight and I wish I had a little more weight because if I lose weight my boobs get smaller :rlytearpls: it's also sad because whenever I go to restaurants there is a lot of food left over and I always feel like I am wasting food.

i have slow metabolism. i tried to eat less but more often, to fasten my metabolism

 

i dont think "eat alot" is smth bad. your friends are annoying btw

lol bc i rly just want friends like u who wouldn't get "jealous" or try to ruin my health blah blah

i try to eat somewhat healthily, but it doesn't always work and i do eat a lot, i also go out to eat quite often? and i don't exercise enough tbh it's time to change that

 

it feels like i gain a lot of weight, but ?? i don't ??? (especially after buffets bc my family like going to those for birthdays)

 

well, my friends don't really put each other or anyone down because of weight or metabolism :-)

Well, think about it this way, skinny is the default norm in society. Compared to being overweight which you get a lot of crap for, skinny you do as well but not nearly as bad, because its still the ideal shape, no matter who says what. If you have fast metabolism, there is nothing you can do about it. Just tell them "Look this is my body, and I can't change that. I still have the right to eat whatever I want, just like you can". If they still don't get that, then that's their own problem.

fast meta here but just like sooyoung, my face bloats haha. but other than that, i have a flat stomach. i could eat a lot. i also get hungry like 15-20 mins after. the good thing though about me is that, i eat healthy foods and i can control eating. so fast meta + controls to eat, flat stomach :lol:

I have a fast metabolism too but my stomach now has a slight pouch so I'm starting to eat healthily and exercise more to get rid of it and get back my toned abs.

Oh yes I stopped exercising (I only do VERY little tho. Like 5 mins 5 times a week lmao) and lost my 11 abs thingy fuck. But I currently have severe eczema and can't even sweat for like 2 seconds or I'll start itching T.T I hate my life.

My metabolism has been always fast but it also "adapts" to my levels of activity, so rather than just having a fast metabolism my weight maintains itself quite well so I would struggle if I wanted to lose or gain weight. Like when I was a teenager I would eat a lot, sometimes I would eat as much as adults who were bigger in height and weight than me despite being a slim boy. Also I got in the swimming team and would play football as well as a hobby, so you could say I was a pretty active teen during high school but I was also hungry the whole time, like badly hungry and rather that being concerned of eating to much and gain weight I was concerned of not consuming the necessary amounts of food in order to don't starve or faint during the training sessions. At that time I didn't have to concern at all about what I was eating but at the same time I only ate junk food if there was nothing else available, because of my big appetite I preferred eating more substantial meats, like stuff with lots of carbohydrates like pastas or stuff with lots of proteins. I was like 55kg and ate as much as friends of mine (who weren't as active in sports) that were like 1.90 m tall and were like 80k. Nowadays I'm not nearly as active, nor a teenager developing, so my metabolism has decreased (I eat a lot less) so I still maintain more or the less the same weight and appearance whereas some of my friends gained a lot of weight when they started college.
