OMG new people are coming to the thread and it's awesome! (I've been gone for a little while and then STUFF happens!) Welcome, NEW FRIENDS!    

 

Hahahahaha It makes me happy that so many people are making the thread active. By the way guys, I haven't really explained why I fell in love with SeoKyu right? Well, I guess I should probably talk about this here.

 

Before I became an ELF, I actually stalked some funny Kpop videos on the internet and since then, I discovered the joy of kpop. After that, I saw a video of Kyuhyun winning a math olympiad and being an awesome intellectual genius evil maknae. And after that, I watched the videos of Super Junior. I also stumbled upon some funny videos of SNSD and I observed that Seohyun is a very proper and intelligent maknae. After that, they both became my bias in both groups because of the fact that I am fond of intelligent people and if you look at it closely, Seohyun and Kyuhyun are both nerdy types.       I can relate to them though since I am also a bit nerdy and am similar to Seohyun with that proper attitude and that otaku-ness of Kyuhyun with games although I'm not good at it.

Then, I discovered the Seoul MV and naturally, fell in love with their cute and romantic actions in the video. Then I became an ELF and continued shipping my 2 biases in both groups. I followed their duets, their musical and read their fanfictions.

 

Here's the thing though. What made me think that the ship had potential to come true (since I restrained myself from shipping idols since you can never be certain if your ship loves each other), is because of the fact that they are "AWKWARD" with each other.     I mean, I haven't really experienced being in a relationship but whenever I hear people's opinions regarding people loving each other, they usually say that you can differentiate friends and people who love each other by their actions. 

Kyuhyun and Seohyun are so awkward and for two idols who have been in the same agency for how many years, isn't that suspicious?

 

And also, I remember in radio star, a radio star MC said, "I think something happened between the two of them..."

 

 

 

 

Though if you ask me for my real opinion regarding the two of them, I think Kyuhyun and Seohyun are people who have a really hard time confessing to someone their love.  I mean, with Seohyun's personality, I think the guy should be the one who should be actively pursuing her first cause she's stubborn and Kyuhyun is.....a hard person to decipher.

It's just my opinion though.

 

Yeah, nowadays I try not to ship people as much as I used to before because you never know and also, I think I have a bit of a deeper understanding of relationships (even though I've never been in one). But these two always happen to catch my attention because when I think about it, it's just like "Why do they seem awkward?" Like we all know they're pretty close because that's what they said. Plus, Seo would always say that Kyu is funny and he would say that she's a good person. That means that they have gotten at least somewhat close. So then why are they awkward on camera? 

 

That's kinda the thing that's been keepin' me going. When it comes to their personalities, I feel like Kyu would be willing to show his feelings to a girl. He has said before that even though he likes games, if there's a girl he loves, she will be his everything (Or something like that, it was a long time ago). I don't know how true that is, but still, that's something. 

 

About Seo, I also think that the guy would be pursuing her. She doesn't seem like the type of girl to just show it right away or confess herself. At least, that's how I see it. It seems like she'd be more willing to just hear a guy out if he was confessing and if she felt the same way, she'd accept.

 

BUT OF COURSE, I don't know them myself, so I cannot say I know this is true. However, I am hoping that it is.

this is true as a seohyun biased i know her personality she isnt the type to take a first move and from the way i see it it seems like kyu is the type who is determined to achieve his goals so i feel he wud be hard working and persistant to get the girl who stole his heart

 

I agree, as a Kyu fan, he seems like the type to do that. Again, I am never sure because I don't know him personally, but just the way he is trying to push himself to do certain things means he is determined. So if it's all real, then it would make sense for it to be that way.

I see. I never really much paid attention to some radio star episodes cause it's always hard to find english subs and my internet connection always fails.

 

Anyways... I'm not really a good observer of relationships. Still... I hope that Kyuhyun will find someone (preferably Seohyun) as a partner but since he is going to the army soon..Don't you guys think that he'll not try to be involved in relationships?

I would always hope for it to be Seohyun, but that is a question that everyone needs to consider. I mean, two years away, you can never guarantee what'll happen in like two years. So being in a relationship during times like that are risky and probably not ideal. However, there are certain cases and exceptions where things work out. I hope Sungmin and his wife are going to be able to get through the rest of the time he will be gone. I ain't saying that Kyu and Seo could ever possibly be that case or just Kyu and his possible partner in general, but they are both strong people.

 

If it is the two of them, I think they may be able to get through it. But if we think in general, Kyu is probably a person who can get through that sort of stuff despite all worries.

 

Although, we can never be sure of course. So I can't say this is true for sure. I hope he can, though.

If the ship does sail, I wonder if Seokyu would announce it like what they did       like at an sm concert or something. I highly doubt they would since they both said they don't like telling that they are going out... but what if.....       Forgive my delusional mind

I mean, well, I feel like there was a HUGE amount of supporters behind JaDine, a lot of people shipped them together because they were a love team. And it was my first ship to ever come true.   It would be awesome if they could be like that.

 

BUT the thing that I have noticed is that when it comes to romance in the media, the Philippines and Korea are very different. In the Philippines, I don't think there will be huge consequences to two celebrities dating. But in Korea, that stuff is pretty darn risky, especially if you are very famous and a lot of people know who you are. People end up shipping the idols with multiple different people rather than shipping them with just one person, like how I saw JaDine.  And that can create some conflict between fans, which sucks really, but that's how it is. I don't think anyone who saw James or Nadine shipped them with anyone else. At least, I haven't heard anything about any other ships.

 

If I am wrong, then I should be corrected on this thought. I feel like the whole dating picture in the Philippines may be just a bit more easy for idols. But in Korea, that is very different to me. And slightly dangerous.

OMG you guys, this is what it's like living in America. I get on this website to find everyone saying things, and it's so COOL~ I get to see all the stuff 'bout SeoKyu.

 

ALSO, I had heard about Seo trying to get Tae to go with her to see the cherry blossoms, but I never connected it with Kyu x3 What amazing minds we all have! ^.^

 

And I do think a lot of their posts nowadays could be related to each other, I've been looking out for her posts on twitter just because I don't have an instagram (never saw a need for an account). I kept looking at her post talking about relationships and a lot of the comments WERE about Kyu, as someone here said (forgot your name sorry). I couldn't help but laugh and smile.

lol i never had any accounts until seohyun made one so i just create ig account to follow her keke ,,,so judging from the way this thread works we have a hardcore kyu fans and a hardcore seo fans so we can complete eachother about seokyu updates and lets try to analyze it if we noticed some similarities,,iam updated about kyu updates too anyway

Yeah, that's a website I have no idea about and I could imagine how active he could be on there. I think it's more on the Asian side of social media, no one here uses that at all.

 

Kyu said "I miss you" to the fans, I believe. Like he posted a picture and then the caption would be for the fans but I suppose further speculation could say something different?

lol at fluttering India though. when sung*gyu asked if it's okay to have ideal type among celebs/idols and mentioned it publicly? he asked just to make sure I think lol. then kyu said,' it's alright. sometimes you can observe her closely and quietly on stage'. lol he said as if he had the same experience like he has ideal type among idols since he mentioned on stage.after he said that, other kyuline were quiet like didn't know what to react after that and sung*gyu said this is getting weird and the whole kyuline laughed. I swear it was really weird atmosphere to me. as if they know kyu is experiencing the same thing lol

 

seriously as his fan, it has been countless of times that I noticed he observed seo quietly. I'm not even saying this as seokyu shippers since I noticed it since long time ago. when I actually shipped kyu with other girls bfore I can't deny that I strongly feels that he really likes seo based on how many times I caught him looking at seo. just at seo. back then and now, it was super hard to see kyu interested in girls until I read rumors about kyu being gay.weird enough, I saw other sm groups' fans also noticed how he behaved.

And I also noticed that too, so LONG  ago as well. I do believe I posted a video here before about this little dance thing that both of them participated in with other members of their group. It was the one where SJ were in varsity jackets and wearing hats. I SWEAR to heck, sometimes it's hard to find him, but while everyone's dancing along as SNSD was dancing, he was just standing there, staring to the right of the stage (our right or his left) and THAT WAS HER POSITION. 

 

I get so curious about him, man, it's so strange. It's even weirder that people from other fandoms can notice this too.

 

Another thing I remember was during the MAMA 2011 I believe. And when the music was playing and everyone in that area was out of their seat and dancing, Kyu was like behind her and leaning against the chair in front of him. And it seemed like he REALLY wanted to say something to her. This may just be my delulu mind but I SUH-WEAR, that always caught my attention. And then he called her name (you could read his lips when he does) and says a joke? Because she laughs right after and shakes her hand. I don't know why but I always so this is as a flirty thing. I mean, it could always be as friends, I tease my friends all the time. But I know that stuff like that could be flirtatious.

 

But again, it could be my delulu mind.

 

(Btw, I remember seeing the picture Kyu took of that photo on twitter when it first got out and I laughed so hard  "I'm not envious, I'm not envious, I'm not sad.)

lol it just made them suspicious that way imo. they always clarified how they are close but they never appear so in public. like for me, I see kyu as someone who is friendly unlike back then when he was still shy so even though he wasn't close with that person, he would at least can make comfortable conversation with her/him. but with seo, you can always see some sorts of awkwardness which is not really bothering them. it's like they like being with/ working with each other but still have to hide the excitement so that people won't feel suspicious. just my two cents.

 

one thing I'm sure of, kyu likes being linked to seo, judging on how many times he mentioned her first, and he even said how he prefer to be linked to her than to be known as non celeb killer. remember when he was so mad on twitter at articles linked him with seul*gi yet he never mad at

tons of articles about seokyu. even I remember articles wrongly described their kiss scene yet he still don't mind it

 

does anybody here remember how quickly he followed back seohyun on Twitter? it was the same minute after seo followed him. his followers said that they checked his activity there and they said kyu logged in twitter just to follow seo back. lol idk about you guys but that definitely something amazing coming from kyu who rarely log into sns cuz he is lazy af

RIGHT? They will always compliment each other in very subtle ways (she said he's comfortably funny, he said she's very nice and respectable) and this shows that they've definitely gotten close to each other off cam. But in public, they don't show. They do seem very suspicious.

 

And I can remember how he didn't like being called a non-celeb killer and how he made sure to tell everyone that seulgi and him were not a thing. I used to suspect that he didn't speak out about Seo too much just because he was used to seeing that stuff and decided not to bother. But he instantly went to say that he and seulgi weren't a thing like that. Sooooo there's that

 

I also remember the time he followed he so quickly and she also followed him around the same time. He barely goes on twitter and at the point he still didn't go on there often. So seeing him do that was so weird. I feel like they had met up or something, or they just happened to bump into each other and decided to talk for a bit. Then she just told him and they decided to follow each other at that time. That's what it seems to be, but I don't know.

 

You guys, I am hoping they are a thing but at the same time I'm worried. I've finally created an instagram just to follow Seo and some other people (I literally have no other use for it) and I've looked at the comments on her pictures. Someone was talking about how annoying some goguma shippers are on CNBlue's account or something like that. It brought a thought to my mind. If there's any really competitive Seo ship, it's the goguma shippers (at least I think so) and some of them can be scary. NOT ALL of course~   I'm sure there are lots of good people in that fandom, but it's... still kinda scary to me. I'm worried about the chaos that may or may not ensue if she is not dating any of their ships for her. And I'm worried about Kyu as well, if he'd get backlash.

it was obviously an exaggeration about them saying suju lives there and seokyu spent that night together. but I couldn't deny that night, too many suspicious things happened. I previously said something about the bday party. about how suddenly after kyu came, there were too many party stuffs and how some elf said that the place was kyu's fav restaurant. lol idk if you guys have read about my thoughts on this event cuz I already wrote it on previous pages on this thread. That is very true, I also became suspicious about that night (I think like some months ago). Seo and Hyuk were all alone with only a few things and then all of a sudden, Kyu comes and in the next pic, there's a bunch of party things. I'm not too sure about the rumors though, (I'd like to believe they're true) you can never really be sure. All I can rely on are picture evidence and if one of them really said it was true. And yeah, you have written about this before here I can remember. I do also believe that they may not have been dating at the time but rather he was courting her. It seems to me that either they're dating now or he'd stopped courting her (which I do not wish to think xP).

lol the term courting would stop and irrelevant if they're dating lol. do you guys present when allkpop had their old forum? bfore they changed its layout, they had a forum. I was active there and there was a thread called 'kpop celebs' secrets'. there were many users who were non shippers said that kyu was courting seo and that he wasn't gay. there were lots of stuffs, Minnie once courted su*zy. I think those who missed this era( the day allkpop had this legendary thread) is missing a lot of things. these users mostly not just gave some secret infos but also some pics. lol idk why it never leaked somewhere else but just died down. I was devastated when the thread was cancelled as allkpop changed its layout

 

when I talked about pic, there was a thing about seokyu that might shocked some ppl. lol I hate knowing about this without the forum anymore bcuz all the evidences (pics were there and I didn't save it cuz I never thought the forum would be cancelled and there was thing that I didn't take seriously). it's frustrating.

Ahhh, while I was asleep, there came out new topics to touch xD

 

I remember hearing that Seo sat next to someone and somebody said that it was their manager and that he looked a lot like Kyu. I thought nothing of it back at the time, which was a long time ago, because I didn't even know what to do with that information. People were saying it WAS Kyu but I never knew if it was true so I didn't spend too much though in that. This is my first time hearing about a kiss!  Very interesting. It sucks that I've never seen it. If I had known about everything, I would have just saved it in my computer and never let anyone else see it except for others secretly. If only~

 

Also, I have noticed that Kyu does that thing with her hand. I've never seen him do it to another woman, even if he was acting. He did that to Seo. While I always thought it was such a cute gesture, I never realized that he hadn't done it with any other woman.

 

Do any of you guys remember when Kyu called Seo sexy and she cried?  And this was like years ago. I think that may have been him trying to approach her comfortably. And THAT backfired, didn't it? lol I'm glad to know they're closer now.

the incident of him calling seo as Sexy. it was quite amazing knowing how shy kyu was back then in general. he wasn't talkative back then like now. at least that was how his image was. seeing how such compliment he can thrown at seo off cam, it was really funny how on cam they were awkward af. btw, has anyone ever seen seo's description about her ideal type? if it's not kyu, idk who else lol. she drew a pic of her and her ideal type singing duet. and one of her description was 25 years old which was kyu's korean age at 2013. drawing pic of dueting and the ideal type having same age as kyu?? just wow. this happened at 'snsd and the dangerous boy' show

lol He was shy back then, I can remember. He wasn't as talkative as right now. I remember back in Intimate Note, not a lot of people knew him, so whenever someone looked at him, he said, "My name is Kyuhyun." He sure was a bit more shy but he still had the same wittiness and quick thinking. Also, the blunt burns he gave to Hyuk and Chul were HILARIOUS.

 

I remember that drawing!  It was cute to say the least. And it did seem a lot like Kyu. If it's not him, then I'mma be so confused.   It was ridiculously close to what their duets looked like so that really stuck to me. I'm not sure what the rest of the description of her ideal type, though. I can't remember too much. Did she ever say that she would like someone with a great sense of humor? Because I remember someone connecting that to how she once called Kyu with a great sense (of humor). I believe that's one of them.

 

Isn't it very interesting how his ideal type is her and her ideal type is awfully close to him?

sorry for asking but what's the connection between cherry blossom with seokyu? I don't really get it

Recently Seo wanted to go see the cherry blossoms and she kept pestering Tae (in a cute and funny way) about going with her to see them. Kyu had also posted a picture, I think, around this time with cherry blossoms in it.

 

And coincidentally as well, Kyu and Tae have been working together for a CF so someone must have connected that in some way?  Anyways, that's the basics of it, I suppose.

there actually tons of moments of seokyu that came to me as obvious. but I really can't choose my fav ones. I guess it was just too many. what I'm upset was when I saw suspicious Korean articles talking about seokyu but I couldn't understand anything except for the headlines mentioning their name. I used to follow sj fansites where I saw bunch of Korean articles talking about sj relationships. the articles were there but no one bother to translate it. I remembered seeing an article talking about hyuk x i*u dating way bfore their scandals blown off. there were pics of them walking with each other at an award show and hyuk tapping her head. just when I didn't think much, two years later their selca revealed 'accidentally'. so then I realised that those articles I have read might have some truth in it.

 

for seokyu, I saw an article from their moments at SMA 2011 where kyu wanted to give a bouquet of flowers to snsd and the other snsd members seemed like they were teasing seokyu cuz kyu was smiling and seo hide behind yoo*Na like she was shy or something. it happened all in one pic used by the article. idk what they wrote but it was definitely about seokyu judging from the pic and title. and I recall when some ppl said that seokyu articles being taken down after 2013 rs episode, so idk why it had to be like that

He does have a new web drama, but I don't think this is his first xP His first was "Bongsun, A Woman Who Dies When She Loves" and this was quite some time ago. I'm not sure what the new one is called, but I think it's different. Either that, or I'm just very forgetful.

 

But YES, I'd love to see SeoKyu in a drama together. If only~

lol the web drama you mentioned is what will air in May which is kyu's first web drama.it was supposed to air back in January but somehow it got delayed until May. so I was waiting like crazy ever since the news of him gonna go acting. he never had any drama bfore the Bongsun one. anyway let's hope for more actingkyu in dramas

Ah, I see~  I was terribly mistaken then. So I can't wait to see how it goes~  And I hope he'll also consider acting in dramas, I believe he had something about not wanting to go into the drama scene yet or something like that. It'd be great to see him in a drama (one that airs on tv, not just web)

I'm following news of snsd and suju since 2008. I always have a soft spot for Seohyun and Kyuhyun but i'm not showing it like for Eunhyuk and Donghae. (and i'm not shipping seriously EunHae)

Hello new friend!!! I'm in the same spot as you, just a little different. I kept up with sj ever since that time around 2008 and I had heard of snsd during that time as well, but hadn't kept up with them. It was actually only after the Seoul mv where I kept up with both of them (SuGen for the WIN!) and SeoKyu just seemed to stand out so much to me! Because I've been an sj fan longer, I would say I'd choose sj over gg, but I love both some much! I'm a sonelf, unfortunately I don't see too many of those lately.

 

 

if he goes to army, let's say in January 2017, he will back in October to December 2018. well it doesn't make any difference if he came back early 2019 since I don't think sj will have early comeback on that year. one thing for sure, kyu is highly unlikely to join sj in 2018 :( I heard that sj gonna have comeback in 2018. if the comeback is during super late in year 2018, and kyu joined around January or February 2017, he might have chance to join

Wow, so... next year then he'll be leaving. Well I could stand a comeback without him but I'd still be sad  Like it wouldn't feel the same. Maybe and hopefully they'd push it back just a bit more until he came back, but that might be a bit too much.

That's interesting, and honestly, I ain't even mad~  I think it's a pretty good age as well, to be honest (me personally, though, I'd prefer to be married in the late twenties perhaps or early thirties) and although it's a pretty long time from now, I think it's a good time in life when you're mature enough to understand how marriage should be. For most people, at least. Plus, with his idol life, I think it's best as well in that sense. Even though Sung*min can do it, maybe Kyu sees it as something that needs to wait for now.   

 

Did Seo ever mention when she would like to be married? 'Cause I also believe around the thirties is when she wants it to happen, though I'm not sure.

YES I remember that! That's the time I can recall her saying something like that. I loved watching that episode so much and back then I was surprised at how she said she wanted to get married around that age. But now I have a better understanding on why and I think it's a pretty good age as well.

HELLO NEW FRIEND! Also, another filipina?  Because I grew up in America and cannot speak tagolog (unfortunately) I only know words here and there. Kilig is one of them   It's definitely one of the most interesting words I've heard so far, just because I don't believe there is any English equivalent to explain "kilig".

While I do feel a slight twinge in my heart also seeing that, fret not, fellow shipper. 'Tis but a drama--acting. Just like in his musicals.   I try to remind myself of this a lot. But wouldn't it be great if Kyu and Seo could in a drama together? I can only wish for that to be so. I like to imagine it though, even with them not being the main characters.

Yeah Filipina here! And yes unfortunately there is no English equivalent for the Tagalog word "KILIG"  

So as a fangirl I would just say "overflowing feels"    hahaha

 

I actually think "so romantic" and "kyaa" are the equivalent though  

I think all of them express the term "kilig" quite well.

 

 

I have this theory that Kyu's 3rd webdrama will be with Seo and it'll be her first webdrama.     

Just comparing it to their musical background lmao.

 

I would love for that theory to be true because omg that would be awesome.

I'd heard about a lot of filipino yong*seo shippers too, so I'm very glad to find other filipinas/filipinos who ship seokyu! ^^ I feel that maybe they tend to ship those they see on a show together because they have love teams there, but i don't know. Because WGM is scripted, I don't like to trust the "couples" on them. I think you can make great friendships with the person you're with, but I'm not so sure on romance.
