Philando Castile - Armed Robbery Suspect?

Recommended Posts

Before I jump into this topic, I want to make it clear that in no way do I intend to use this as a platform to hate or to say that he deserved execution. This is simply an interesting development that I believe should be shared.

Castile's history may be a moot point by now, but it should not be ignored that there is a shocking amount of evidence that points to him having been responsible for an armed robbery that happened 4 days prior to his execution in the same city.

Excerpts from the article;

"Reynolds claimed they were pulled over for a broken tail light, false.

Ms. Reynolds also claims her boyfriend, Castile, was holding a concealed carry permit for a firearm that was resting on his left thigh.  This also appears to be false."

"However, in part of the video it is possible to see a hand gun located on the thigh of Philando Castile.  This also appears to be why Officer Yanez repeats to Ms. Reynolds not to reach toward her boyfriend:

This hand gun also appears to be the same type of hand gun used in the Convenience Store Armed robbery four days earlier:"

"In addition, Mr. Castile also matched the physical description of the suspect as given by eye witnesses:

Again, I intend on being completely neutral in this topic, I will not jump the gun to say that he deserved to be executed, nor will I jump the gun to accuse this news of being 100% false. I'm simply viewing this as an interesting perspective to the event.

[…]  The other suspect was described as a black man with shoulder-length dreadlocks, who wore tan pants, tan shoes with white soles, a green jacket, a green baseball cap and glasses, the release says. He also had some of his hair pulled into a bun through the strap on the back of his hat and had a small mustache and facial hair on his chin."

I would suggest reading this article with an open mind, instead of keeping yourself in the mind frame that is HAS to be false. And again, I only intend on keeping a neutral stance in this matter. Rather, I want to hear what your thoughts on this development are. Does this story seem to add up, or is this a falsified cover-up? Discuss.

Edit: I guess I can't make it clear enough that I don't intend on spreading hate. All I want to do is share an interesting development.

they didnt kill dylan roof who shot & killed, what, 9 unarmed people? so they shouldnt have killed him, armed robber or not ^____^

Came to say this exact thing!!!

The contrast and bias is so glaringly clear.

They always want to bring up past offenses as if they have anything to do with the actual situation, yet when its a white person who are actually actively endangering people, they can somehow apprehend them unscathed. Its total BS and no one is buying it, not even the people trying to sell it.

Also, why do they proclaim falseness to something they don't have proof on. Where is the news that he didn't have a permit and they weren't being pulled over for a broken tail light from???

Disappointing.

I still have a question:

After every reveal of black police fatalities criminal history

Why wouldn't you think that black crime and police brutality/fatality are two variables that have a linear relationship with each other?

Did the investigation already completed to prove that he was not a school worker and model citizens?   :imstupid:

Besides, how does  this alleged robbery justifies or relates to his death?

hmm im saying about that media portrayal looking to be false. He is school worker I am saying that evokes emotion in reader that he mustve been a good guy.

I never spoke about his death or anything just about media portrayal
