[TRANS] 131031 ‘Our Neighborhood’s Master’ PD Says, “We’ve Been Planning A Trip To The Sochi Olympics Since Mayâ€

The members of ‘Our Neighborhood’s Master of Variety and Sports’ may be on their way to attending the Scohi Winter Olympics.

PD Lee Yae Ji of KBS 2TV’s ‘Our Neighborhood’s Master of Variety and Sports’ stated, “We’ve been planning a trip to Sochi, Russia for the Winter Olympics since May.â€

The members of the celebrity team made a deal with the staff during their bowling mission in May, saying that if the if the celebrity team scores four consecutive wins, they will earn the opportunity to watch the Sochi Winter Olympics.

Although the team has yet to score four consecutive wins, the staff have been making preparations to go to Sochi just in case. PD Lee explained, “It’s true that we’ve been making preparations to go to Sochi. We’ve been working hard to make this happen, signing up for ID cards and making sure the celebrities’ schedules don’t conflict with the games.â€

However, plane tickets have not been bought yet. This is because the staff wishes to avoid the hassle of having to cancel tickets with the members are unable to score four consecutive wins or complete the tasks that the staff give them in the future.

Many viewers are curious to see if the celebrity team will be able to win four consecutive times and earn themselves a trip to the Sochi Winter Olympics.

TVXQ Changmin alarmed his fans by showing up to a filming site with a leg cast.

KBS released photos of the filming site of the show Our Neighborhood′s Masters of Variety and Sports. In the 31st episode of the show, the participants will divide up into two teams of four to play basketball games.

Changmin had to sit out of the game that day, due to the leg injury he suffered during the previous match. He unexpectedly collided with Julien Kang and only realized the seriousness of his injury after the game was over.

The PD of the show, Choi In Sun, encouraged Changmin by saying, “He only realized how injured he was after the game. I highly regard his passion.â€

Our Neighborhood′s Masters of Variety and Sports airs every Tuesday and features celebrities playing sports games with people in the neighborhood.

What show is the one on first place or second? Is this why CKOTB ratings are decreasing? Or just the basketball sport is not really appealing...?

the show producer even said they might extend bb if ppl are interested in it. but looks like they arent so it might be short as planned.

When Changmin was on the bench, he also gave out the basketballs one by one to the members on the bench together with him. When the match was ongoing, Changmin shouted "let's move" to the members who were on the court, and was hitting the basketball in his hands in excitement and clapping. And Julien Kang patted Changmin on his head ã… ã… ã… ã… ã… ã… ã… ã… ã… ã… 

Hye Jung was probably talking about something funny, Changmin kept bursting into laughter. Hye Jung looks like she treats Changmin as a little brother, so cute ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ When Hye Jung was talking, she was gesturing and Changmin was mimicking her and then burst into laughter again ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ Changmin really laughed a lot today

At the second half of the game, Changmin looked like he was going to take off his hair band and kept sweeping up his hair.

Changmin cheered "fighting!" with the members many times, and also stuck to his Ho Dong hyung and leaned on him. It was good to see him being on close terms with the members. When he was whispering with Julien Kang, because Changmin was shorter than him, Julien Kang leant in towards Changmin..

Changmin seemed to have grown a lot closer with So Ji Suk, Ji Suk patted him like a kid, and when Changmin was sitting next to Ji Suk, Changmin touched him on the back too

At the last part, Changmin looked over to our side and waved both hands at us

Today Changmin was diligently giving out water bottles.. When he was giving a water bottle to Lee Jung Jin, Ho Dong stole the water bottle away ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ Changmin also cleaned up the bottle caps. While he was on the bench and when the players came to sit, he would move to give up seats for them. Changmin was really cute and a kind maknae (youngest one)..

Changmin also received a lot of love from the manager. When he came back in from the court, the manager would pat him on the shoulders, and before he was going out onto the court, he also patted him. Changmin also listened well to the manager's words.. he concentrated really hard while listening and didn't even move except for nodding his head ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ and also to the coach's wordsã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹

Choikang Changmin has put pressure on John Park.

On the Nov 19 broadcast of "Cool Kidz", Choikang Changmin won John Park in the body check training.

Prior to this, because Choikang Changmin had suffered a major injury during the 1st round of the basketball series, he could not take part in the matches for the 2nd round. However, even so, seeing that he has continued to take part in the basketball practices, he has shown a unique passion in "Cool Kidz".

On the said broadcast, Choikang Changmin took off the safety brace for his injured leg for the first time and stood on the basketball court. But his facial expression was still as pale as before. However, in a match against John Park, the person who won was Choikang Changmin. John Park, who had worried about Choikang Changmin saying he looked "like a patient still", was instead crushed in defeat by Changmin, bringing much laughter to the viewers.

Today, Changmin was skinny and good looking. It is as if every week whenever I see him, he is slowly losing weight ;ã……; he seemed pale and looked a little tired. At his own seat, he would be jumping up and down, and he would rotate his ankles for stretching and loosening his body up diligently, and he looked to be in a good mood from his beaming smiles.

When the match was starting, Changmin turned around and waved, wonder if it is because the supporting cheers for him was very loud, he waved and again went to the back.. so cuteã… ã… ã… 

For the sake of his smooth complexion, Changmin diligently applied moisturizer. When he was drinking water, the way his cheeks got inflated was really cute and his side profile was beautiful....ã… ã… ã… 

There were many interactions with John Park again today ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ When they were on the bench together, they were sitting shoulder to shoulder and when the players on the court returned, both of them stood up side by side to make room for them ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ they both patted each other's shoulders and cheered.

ep 33 ~ jyp & john park made me laughed so hard at the beginning of the ep

kim hyuk is good so i'm glad that he joined.

first ep without sugeun ... i don't think it will be a major problem during bb episodes since they have 2 coaches and lots of members to focus on... but he will still be missed

oh so another good player. interesting. i wish john park could be a permanant cast. actually this bb group is kinda fun in general.

i wish that too. john park is very laid back which is in contrast with intense changmin. but they kinda look out for each other. he will probably be too busy with 2 days 1 night though

he didn't qualify for 1 day and 2 nights. that was what i read yesterday on soompi. so he won't be in it

It's going to be so strange without Sugeun. When I heard that they were "erasing" him from the finished programs...like he was not really there? That's just creepy. If he did wrong, I get it...but this "shunning" is just so weird.

John Park looks like a baby lamb. Can any guy his age really be so Innocent? So funny!!!!!

I want to mention here that it possible I have a serious Noona crush on Coach 우지ì›(Woo JiWon) . Holy Crap is he ever good looking!

I like this basketball group! I have just seen the second ep. I love each player in the team. This is my fave cool kids season, prolly because bball is my fave sport. I will terribly miss Sugeun.

i like this group of basket ball players too. i think they are better than the badminton ones. more funnier

compared with the first match, yesterday's match was very heavily edited. one moment i saw changmin in court, the next second he's on the bench & 3 seconds after that he's in court again. it probably happened to the other players as well and that's why it was a bit confusing. i think they want to focus more on the 3 aces ~ jiseok, julien & kim hyuk and i'm fine with that because they are the highlight of the game. but i wish the editing could've been better

 

however from the brief moment that u can see him, u can notice that he has improved and became more aggressive

 

about the rating... i think badminton is just more popular in korea than bb (maybe)

changmin seriously needs to step up with basketball. esp try to shoot when he can and not pass all the time. it's like he's afraid to shoot. i seriously see no improvement with him and basketball sigh..

 I think he avoids to keep too much the ball, because he might get hurt, and that face and whole body is valuable. I'm serious. Even a scratch on the face, doesn't do him good. You know he got slapped while practicing, and even got hit in the lips and they swollen. He must  avoid getting hurt so he can perform comfortably and look flawless. He's a singer above it all.

 

yes i know he got hurt because of the earlier episodes but still he should at least try to shoot when he had the chance but instead he passed the ball even if he didn't have a lot of people surrounding him.  im not talking about him having to be agressive like other players, so no he won't hurt himself.

didn't you see he did so well in saipain basketball and you could see he tried hard. but here all i see he did was passed the ball. he's the only player on the team that doesn't shoot while everyone did at least once. -_- i have high expectatioin for changmin but this was dissapointing.

I felt kinda bad for the audience at the Japanese Game because its obvious that most of them are there not to watch the game itself but to watch Changmin play. And he was only on the court for what, 5-10 minutes?

i know that's why it's upsetting as basket ball is extended. he's not trying as hard as he did in saipain and i know he has that potential to do well.
