Plagiarism and imitation accusations are rampant in K-Pop lately.

Countless acts have been scrutinized for copying certain aspects or ideas of other groups' concepts, and this time MONSTA X is in the unwanted spotlight for allegedly copying EXO

A netizen shared gifs comparing the performances by MONSTA X and EXO, pointing out that MONSTA X directly copied the widely known "Growl" choreography of getting down to the floor and then rising back up. At a glance, the performance do appear similar, and other people who chanced upon this post generally agreed with the OP.

They wrote, "Isn't that 'Growl' dance really f*cking famous??? The rumors that you'll throw out your back attempting to dance to it is also really famous;; I think it's totally unacceptable to copy that move," "Wow...when people mention 'Growl' that's the first move I think of..how can they copy that..?" "F*ck so they plagiarized EXO's dance, Block B's MV, and BTOB's album cover; they must be plagiarism idols," and more.

What is your stance on this latest plagiarism controversy?
