[Breaking] [AJ] Police deny reports saying Yoochun will not face charges + SBS an embarrassment

The latest in Yoochun‘s sexual assault case is the police denying reports that not only would Yoochun be cleared of charges in the four sexual assault cases against him, but that the first alleged victim, her boyfriend, her cousin had arrest warrants issued against them for blackmail, and both the first and second alleged victims would be charged with false accusation.

It started with a report by SBS that claimed two alleged victim were getting charged with false allegations and that Yoochun was cleared of wrongdoing...

...Specifically, police said that nothing has been decided yet on either the sexual assault charges or the false accusation charges because the investigation is still ongoing.

I dunno if it's the poor wording of the article or me but is that saying yoochun is still bring investigated AND the accusers will not be charged? Because sbs said he's innocent and 2 accussors will be charged but this article claims the contrary.

Yeah, apparently he's still being investigated and there seems to be no charges against any of the accusers at this time. There are tweets embedded on AJ that have that info but the op didn't add them here

SBS fucked up and reported falsely, this article is confirming that. Police have announced that all those reports are false and that no charges were dropped or proven false yet.

SBS published an article full of lies and the police has stated ( contradicting and correcting SBS):

 

 

Police: Investigations are still on going, so nothing has been concluded yet. For the sexual assault cases, it's still not in the last stage

 

Police: Nothing has been settled. It's not just Park, but the truthfulness of the complaints still has no results.

 

Police: The report about the police requesting for an arrest warrant against A, her boyfriend, and cousin is also not true.

I see, thanks for the clarification. How the hell can SBS be THAT wrong, surely there are some sort of journalism standards (even though journalism in Korea is a joke)? This whole case has been nothing but a mess from the beginning and i expect more twist and turns.

at this point i just expect for the police to claim that no rape happened because south korea doesn't consider "lack of consent" rape, and then these rape victims are charged with blackmail and defamation.

 

yoochun then confesses to the press about his suffering and people all call the rape victims "kkotbaems" because even if these women cried and felt humiliated during sex with him, he wasn't charged, right? and then he just does gigs overseas where none of his fans care how many women he raped.

Tbh, I'm not so much surprised at there being conflicting information going around because we've seen it before in various other situations. But yes, it seems odd for the likes of SBS news to come out and report something like that and then have the police come right out and deny it afterwards. If these are actually police statements, then it makes them look extremely foolish, unless they think they have insider information or something and are waiting for something like that to be announced at some point.
