What type of meaning do you give towards school grades?

My school was super competitive and teachers would always be on ur ass abt it if you weren't getting A's so there was extreme pressure. So like whether or not I actually cared wasn't as important because of the environment of the school

As long as I'm still on track to graduate w/ honors to give myself that extra challenge in college lmao.

I've always been a 3.8 (US GPA) student. Almost all A's but I'll take a B if it looks like that's the grade I'm earning.

I've never had to worry about my grades anyway lol. I do good work, and that's always been reflected by whatever grade I end up with.

I do get really good grades, but I care more about how much I actually learn and gain from school.

For example, I'd rather get lower grades but really gain knowledge about the subject, rather than get higher grades but slack off and just work the system to get good grades.

My lowest grade ever was an 86% in AP Psychology, and yet that is the class that I have learned the most from. I took that class over a year ago, but to this day I remember 100% of what I learned, and I use and think about psychology on a daily basis.

So basically I care a hell of a lot more about whether I'm actually learning something and understanding the material, than getting the good grades. I'd rather get a 70% on a test, but then learn from my mistakes and feel like I understand and learned a lot on the subject, than get a 100% but feel like I didn't really learn anything.

I am very passionate about education and learning, because I want to do something good with my life and have a great career, and I feel that grades are not always a very accurate reflection of true knowledge and learning, so I place much less emphasis on them. However, I still maintain straight As so I can get into a high level university and further my education.
