I agree. I also don't think this is anything that SM is forcing. My thought is the moment Chanyeol said something openly positive about Kai and saw the reactions, he probably kept at it lmao. Let's blame Chanyeol before we blame SM because this is something that happened naturally and wasn't "planned" by them.

But at the same time, it's obvious if you pay even the smallest bit of real attention, this isn't just some fan-service-only driven friendship. I think Chanyeol has trained with Kai the longest in the group (if I'm not mistaken), so this is years built up of knowing one another and plenty of time for this friendship to grow. Also, I don't feel like Kai is one of those people who are into pure fan service when it comes "ships" and other members, so if he thought Chanyeol's actions were fake then the way he reacts to them would make it a lot more apparent, imo.

 

The way I see it, ChanKai are just having fun with being able to openly be Chankai LOL. And who knows? Maybe something happened in the last half year where the two did become closer and so Chanyeol's appreciation for him has deepened and he wants to openly express that to/about Kai when he gets that chance. 

 

Chanyeol really puts his heart into things and is a romantic on top of that, and I'm sure that says something as well for the friendships he considers deer to him.

Not to mention there's so much more than just Chanyeol's recent outspoken appreciation and admiration for Kai. u.u

I have a nice mixture of K/M biased friends! And even if there is one side they end up favoring more, they are similar to me and still have someone in the other unit they deeply care about that ends up being their close second for EXO bias.

It's nice to have in-depth conversations about the members and their relationships with one another. I remember it happened once in the EXO thread and once Tao and Kai got mentioned all hell broke loose and the environment turned so sour  

 

 

 

I feel like they have money. Obviously not as much as top tier groups, but they should be making something. 

 

 

In the episode Kris bought Chanyeol a 60 dollar shirt and another expensive underwear. Xiumin also bought him a hat from that store that cause Sekai heart attacks. Him, Lay, and Luhan all bought from there. I think Sekai are just being cheapskates lol

 

 

 

Oh I haven't finished watching it so I'm glad they aren't totally broke. I need to start touring next year so they actually start making the money they deserve for how much SM overworks them.

 

Plus I guess it's circumstantial. Many idols help their families with money before buying personal things, so perhaps they are sending money home. Kai bby is broke as fuck because he's sending money home

AHH YES I REMEMBER THAT. I think some people get pretty sensitive when there's a disagreement on how they see things or the moment you mention anything that might hint at a negative feeling towards the members. Some people have a hard time realizing not every single one will be besties and that there's the chance some shit has gone down BTS. 

 

I love in-depth convos about members though!! Even if it might not necessarily be something positive (though I don't mean bashing, but even acknowledging their negative or where something isn't perfect, I mean).

 

I mean it's nice when a fan is willing to admit that their bias might not like another member or isn't close to another member. It's nice overall when a fan is willing to accept that their bias isn't perfect as well. 

 

I remember talking about Chanyeol and the way he tends to overreact and he's still my #3 bias. I hate him in no way, but that doesn't mean I don't find some things he do irritating lol. It's bound to happen. I think people who aren't willing to see anything negative about their bias are more or less fooling themselves. I know there is a high chance Kai doesn't like Xiumin for whatever reason. Everything Xiumin does something Kai shies away or doesn't really react and outside of that, they never talk to each other.

 

Meh Idk. All members have things that I don't like or think they can improve on, but I still love them and love them more because I know they aren't perfect.

I agree. Personally, I end up with a deeper appreciation for those whose faults I can acknowledge but still admire the positive in them and overall just keep watching them grow as a person. And when it comes to a biasing experience, I'm totally guilty of letting the same happen. I don't think every person needs to over analyze things or try to look too deeply into it (though this part is inevitable, yet enjoyable, for me), but even just being like, "Yes, they aren't perfect and I do admit [this] was a bit wrong or [that] is kind of a problem" can say a lot. 

 

Who wants to blindly love things anyway?

 

This goes the same in the opposite for me as well though. Even members whom I'm not particularly fond of whatsoever, I can still acknowledge the things I find good about them.

I hate fans who think their idols are perfect and ALL group members are so close and nobody dislikes another member...I had no idea there are some of those fans here 

I don't get what's wrong with not liking 2-3 members out of 12 or mentioning someone's flaws (this is off topic but I once tweeted about Minwoo not being among kpop's best dancers anymore and Shinhwa fans bashed the hell out of me,now I don't even like Shinhwa because of stupid fans *sigh*)

Not sure if there was any KaiBaek. I only saw the first 15 minutes of it and in that much there wasn't Kaibaek because they had to split in groups again and Baekhyun went with Chen. 

 

Also yeah, it's hard to like all 12 members. All of them have different personalities, talents, and looks and some of them might put you off or not be of your tastes. What I don't get is why it matters. I've met a lot of EXO stans when EXO first debuted that hated Kai for all the attention SM put on him but it's not like I cared. People on this forum care too much about liking every member in a group, or they'll act like they're better fans or something.

But seriously, Kai seems a little awk when Chanyeol keeps foaming over him, but I'm sure he was actually touched by Chanyeol's letter and I was too. I'm glad Chanyeol let Kai know that he was appreciated in the group. I'm sure he must feel a burden sometimes for being in the center so often and being at the receiving end of a lot of hate.

 

People may think Chanyeol is overdoing it and Kai doesn't like it, but I don't think Kai minds as much as people think and their hug was so sweet

I really want to hear suho sing more live, and also he needs to train his facial expression whenever he sings lool sorry, but sometimes I can't help but laugh whenever he sings

That is definetly my favourite hai style of Suho so far.

 

Oh god. I remember I couldn't see the difference between him and Sehun for quite some time.
