Ladies, do/did you wear high heels in high school?

My school had uniforms too, but we wore them in the beginning of freshman year only.

I live in a boarding school, basically I live inside the school, I can wear everything I want because I don't have to fear cold or walk too much. I wear platform shoes at school a lot of times. I have to stay with them 6 hours and 5 hours of that I am only sitting, it's not that bad.

yes I wore. I usually wear high heels.

We didn't have uniforms in high school, and our homeroom teacher had no problem with make-up, color of your hair or our clothes. (he was a man in early 30s who kinda favored us,  cause we were 5 girls in the class and 24 boys. We could do whatever we liked. If he didn't like something he was saying directly, with a funny-mocking language, but never imposed rules. For example, for him black nail polish is scary, but never said  " from tomorrow you are not allowed to paint your nail in school". He was more strict with the boys during the 4 years, but with us .. nope, never. Of course each had common sense and knew how to dress while going to school.

well, school doesn't allow it as we have a strict set of uniform and rules to follow (including the color of our shoes) so I only wore them twice? Once for a school festival and the second for prom.

I did start wearing wedged heels and stuff in high school era when I head out though, especially with the whole wedged sneakers trend. Have to say it's not really my sort of thing, high heels-
