If I'm a garbage fan for potentially unstanning because yes, her recent album is garbage then I'll take it. People talk about physicals as a rebuttal to that. Plus plenty of people have been expressing their disappointment about the album so I guess they aren't all up her ass. I think the album is just not sth people wanted or expected from Taeyeon, and that's probably why no one really wants to talk about it. "I" received great response because that's what people expected her to come out with. Ballad has always been something people want from Taeyeon. Doing something different from what other people expect her definitely is scary for her since her sales and reputation is on the line but it means something for her. it means the best only for her. Solo is an opportunity for someone to try and do something they're not able to do. She, herself, has said that she sang them according to her own colours and the way she wanted to express them.
