AFTER WEEKS OF TRYING TO RESIST KENTARO'S SAKAGUCHI'S CHARM, I FINALLY CAVED IN AND WATCHED ONE OF HIS MOVIES. GUESS WHAT! I LOVED IT AND I FELL FOR THE LEAD GUY THOUGH I WAS ALSO ROOTING FOR SAKAGUCHI (THAT MAN)! OH GAWD! I'VE BEEN LIVE TWEETING WHILE I WAS WATCHING IT, SOME OF MY COMMENTARIES WERE IN MY NATIVE TONGUE THOUGH.

Yamazaki Kento is in like every live action shoujo manga adaptation so you can just look up his filmography and pick from there.

if you want more Kentaro you can try watching Love That Makes You Cry. He plays the fashionable side male character (Haruta) who's in love with the side female character (Konatsu). A bit of a forewarning, the drama's pacing might be a little slow, but fortunately there's only 10 episodes.

This movie just confirmed that I really dislike Kento's acting and visual. He looks so stiff all the time and overall gives me a really bad vibe even though he's the male lead.

The female lead is one of the most stunning Japanese actresses I've ever seen, I also watch Sumika Sumire for her after this movie.

I watched like every live action adaptation with kento in it and i couldnt understand why he was in every singly adaptation like?? I just couldnt fall for him tbh

 

But then everything changed when i watched death note. Thats the show that made me his fan.

Yamaken is literally everywhere so you should be fairly easy to find his other projects.   He's currently starring in getsu9 drama titled "Suki na hito ga iru koto." so you should probably check that out if you want to keep up with his latest work. It's only been one episode^^ 

 

As for Sakaguchi, he really did well in every roles he took despite he's fairly new (and even better than Yamaken despite Yamaken is his senior and already took a lot of roles but Yamaken is improving^^) . He is really popular as a model *v*.

 

He's never been as the lead roles in dramas and movies where he was in it (as far as i'm concerned).

Dramas that I would recommend would be "Kounodori" and "Itsuka Kono Koi wo Omoidashite Kitto Naite Shimau."

In Kounodori he showed up in every single episode but only for very short time (if I remember correctly). But, this drama is really good. I cried in every single episode 

Itsuka Kono Koi wo Omoidashite Kitto Naite Shimau got pretty well review but personally I found it's pretty slow and all of the leads annoyed me so I dropped it after ep 6 (lmao I was close to finish it up because it ended in ep. 10 but I couldn't stand it anymore.)

I heard Juhan Shuttai is pretty nice too even though I haven't checked it out yet ^^;;

 

As for movie, the ones that I had watched where he took part were "Umimachi Diary", "No longer heroine" (the one that you just had watched) and "Ore Monogatari." Kentaro only had a small role in Umimachi Diary and he basically was only shown for like 3-5~ minutes and that was it. But, the movie itself is pretty nice imo. So, even he only had minor role there, pretty worth to check it out

I watched it and it gave me a serious SECOND MALE LEAD SYNDROME. Up until now I still can't believe that Hatori didn't choose Hiromitsu.

 

My favorite scene would be that whole scene where Hatori was running into Hiromitsu and they hugged. Just the whole scene where they showed all those sweet things they're doing.
